How this list is built
- What makes a good flip?
- A wide gap between the week's low and high price, on an item that actually sells in real volume. Price swing alone can be noise, so it's weighted against how many units sell per day — a wild swing on something nobody buys ranks below a smaller, dependable swing on something that moves.
- Where do these numbers come from?
- The weekly low, high and median come from 7 days of daily price history. Sold-per-day and the liquidity score come from hourly telemetry on completed sales.
- Why only commodities?
- Sale-rate data only exists for commodities, the region-wide stackable-goods pool. Per-realm items — gear, weapons, recipes — have no equivalent sold-per-day signal, so they can't be ranked by real demand here.
- How often does this update?
- Sold-per-day and the liquidity score refresh hourly. The weekly price history rolls up nightly, so the window fully updates once a day.
