Notas de versión

Qué ha cambiado

Cada versión del addon del juego, de la app companion y de esta web, de la más reciente a la más antigua.

Las notas de versión están escritas en inglés.

  1. Companion

    1.19.1

    • On Linux the Companion also finds World of Warcraft in the Steam that Ubuntu's App Center installs (the Snap), when Battle.net runs there as a non-Steam game.
  2. Web

    1.55.1

    • Item pages: the chart of the price on every realm works on a phone. Tap a dot, or drag a finger along them, to see which realm it is, its price and how far it sits from the typical price. With your realm picked at the top of the page, the chart names it from the start.
    • Downloads: the Linux tip names the FUSE package Ubuntu 24.04 and later need, libfuse2t64, and an ARM Linux computer is no longer offered the x86-64 AppImage as its download.
    • Mail apps and search results that show goldcap.gg's icon get the current crosshair mark instead of the old gold G.
  3. Companion

    1.19.0

    • The Companion now runs on Linux, as an AppImage. It finds World of Warcraft in the Wine prefixes that Lutris, Steam (Proton), Bottles, Faugus or plain Wine keep; if yours is somewhere else, pick the folder in Settings. Opening it a second time brings up the running one's window.
    • In the setup window each game's checkbox and folder line up on the left again, and the game folder is shown in full there and in Settings instead of cut short in the middle. Ticking a game whose folder wasn't found asks you for the folder instead of doing nothing.
    • Checkboxes, dropdowns and links in the Companion's windows now look the same on every system, in GoldCap's own colours, instead of each system drawing its own.
    • With the realm set to Auto, prices follow the realm you actually played last. Before, they could stay on the realm where you last created a character.
  4. Web

    1.55.0

    • The Companion can now be downloaded for Linux too: the downloads page has a Linux button for the AppImage, for playing through Wine, Lutris, Steam or Bottles, and lists its checksum with the others.
  5. Addon

    0.20.0

    • The BUY tab has the new look too. Each item on a list is a card with its icon framed in its quality's colour, its name and how many are left to buy, and under the name what you need, what you already have and your cap, or NO CAP in amber. Under PRICE EACH it says how far under your cap one unit is, or that it is only the market price while nobody has looked yet; under COST, for how many. An item over your cap shows the cheapest price in red.
    • The list is in groups: TO BUY, with what it all costs in its heading, TO CRAFT, AT A VENDOR and BOUGHT. BOUGHT stays folded until you click it, and opens by itself under a gold check once everything is bought.
    • The list picker is a card at the top left with the list's name, how much of it is done and a bar of that. The box for adding items beside it is taller, with a gold plus and its button inside; while you type, its matches open over the list instead of pushing it down.
    • The bar at the bottom shows the item BUY buys next, YOUR CAP (click it to change the cap), COST, SKIP and BUY. At CONFIRM it turns gold, and a line along its foot runs out with the last seconds of Blizzard's price.
    • With no list yet, the tab says so and offers New list and Import.
    • In a wide window, YOUR LISTS are cards with each list's first item, how much of it is done and a bar; the list on screen is outlined in gold. The auction house search's results are cards too.
    • Money on the BUY tab is in the game's own coins.
    • Adding an item from the auction house search takes one click: the button under the results names the list and puts as many as you typed in How many on it, with Enter pressed or not. The arrow beside it lists all your lists and a new one, and a click there adds straight away; no second window asks how many. The list you add to is the one BUY goes back to. A long menu of lists scrolls.
    • Item names on the BUY tab no longer turn into numbers while you click around it.
    • WoW: Forever: when a full scan stalls, the scan saves what it read right away and the SCAN button is free again, instead of showing SCANNING for up to three minutes under "full scan stalled".
    • The first time you open the auction house after logging in, AUTO no longer looks switched on while nothing scans, and one click on it is enough. The addon button opens the window on the first click.
    • SCAN says SCANNING… whenever a scan runs that AUTO does not already announce, such as the full scan on opening the auction house while Auto is paused.
  6. Addon

    0.19.0

    • GoldCap has a new look: dark glass panels, new fonts picked for each language, and new icons. Buttons and headings are in capitals in every language that has them, Russian and Ukrainian included.
    • The Sell tab keeps a selling list. A circle before each item says whether POST goes through it: gold when it does, empty when it does not. Click the circle to change it, and GoldCap remembers your choice on every character. What you bought on DEALS starts on the list; everything else starts off it, so POST no longer lists your farmed or crafted goods until you mark them. The list reads in two parts, SELLING and NOT SELLING.
    • You post from the bar at the bottom of the Sell tab, one row with the item POST lists next, how many you have, its price and HOW MANY to list. You can change the price and the number right there, and MAX goes back to all of it, so you can post part of a stack. POST lists the item and SKIP passes it; either way the bar goes on to the next item down your list, and back to the top after the last one. When the price is under what you paid or GoldCap would rather not list the item, the bar says why in red under its name.
    • An item you post whole fades out of the list at once, and the items below move up into its place.
    • Click an item to open its panel, which slides in from the right with the order book and quick prices that set the price in the bar. While it is open, POST and SKIP take it along to the next item. Its X or Escape slides it back out; the next Escape closes the window.
    • TO POST and MY LOTS are one switch at the top of the Sell tab. The totals are now PROCEEDS and PROFIT: what the items bring in after the auction house's 5% cut, and what that leaves after what you paid, shown only when GoldCap knows what you paid for all of it. On TO POST they sit in the SELLING heading; on MY LOTS, at the bottom right. They replace COST, ASKING and AT MARKET, which often read 0 and Unknown.
    • Money on the Sell tab is in the game's own gold and silver coins, with gold grouped in thousands. Long item names and long lines wrap onto a second line instead of being cut short, in every language.
    • An empty list on the Sell tab says why and what to do next: nothing in your bags to sell, no auctions up, a search that matches nothing, prices still arriving, or every cost already known.
    • On Deals, the buy panel looks like the Sell tab's item panel and slides in and out the same way. Its X or Escape closes it, and it closes when you switch away from Deals.
    • A string copied from goldcap.gg's profession pages imports into BUY every time. About half of them stopped with an error before, and nothing was imported.
    • A commodity bought in the auction house's own Buy window after its price changed, and confirmed again, is recorded once, at the price you paid. It could be recorded twice, once at the old price.
    • On WoW: Forever, item names in the Sell tab stay put when you press Refresh. They could go blank while prices were checked, and some stayed blank afterwards.
    • The GoldCap window lights up the buttons that are on again: AUTO while it runs, SCAN while a scan you started runs, and the board you picked. AUTO reads AUTO · SCANNING for as long as it is on, instead of blinking with every pass. On retail the line at the top of the window that says how old your prices are can be read again.
    • On Deals, a green light beside AUTO glows while Auto is scanning, and turns amber while Auto is paused. The line next to it now shows three numbers after each scan: deals found, items looked at, and items filtered out. It used to change every second while Auto ran, too fast to read.
  7. Web

    1.54.1

    • Flips opens at once. The board is prepared after each auction house update instead of while you wait, which could take up to half a minute.
    • Characters: the Realm market button works wherever you click it.
    • Deals, Crafting, Movers and the TSM groups open faster, and so does a search on Movers.
    • On a phone, a tap on the edge of Retail in the top bar no longer opens Forever, and a tap on the edge of Americas on Forever pages no longer picks Europe.
    • WoW: Forever release date: the link to Blizzard's announcement under the questions can be clicked again.
  8. Web

    1.54.0

    • Your profile, rebuilt. Your account is now four tabs: Overview, Characters, Subscription and Settings. At the top stands your main character from Battle.net with its level, class, realm and the gold across all your characters; with Pro, also how much it moved this week.
    • Characters: every character on one page. Pick one to see its picture, item level, guild, when it was last played, its professions with how many recipes it knows and which of them turn a profit right now, and, with Pro, its sales and auctions from the last 30 days. Below: which crafts your characters cover and which nobody has yet, and the realms they live on.
    • Overview: what needs you. Undercut lots, a price alert that fired, Discord not reaching you or a companion that has gone quiet, each with the button that fixes it. With Pro, your profit, sales and gold over time, and what earned the most.
    • Subscription: your plan in one place. When it renews, what you pay, and the card and invoices. Cancelling first shows what you keep and what stops, with your own numbers.
    • My realms now work across the site. Your saved realms come first in the realm picker; your home realm is chosen the moment you sign in; alert groups fill their realms with yours in one click; item pages mark your realms where to buy and show when buying on one and selling on another pays, through the Warband bank.
    • Arbitrage: Between your realms. A new Pro tab lists what sells for more on one of your saved realms than it costs on another, after the 5% cut, ranked by gold a day.
    • Flips, rebuilt on real sales. The list now reads what players actually paid this week instead of listed prices, so one day of troll listings or a single buyout no longer puts junk at the top. Each row shows a buy and a sell price, the profit per unit after the auction house cut, how many sell a day, a small chart of the week, and where the price is right now: buy zone, mid-range or at the top.
    • Flips has three tabs: solid flips, the ones in the buy zone right now, and risky ones with the reason (a one-way move, few sales or a gap too wide to be real). Sort by gold a day, profit per unit, margin or sales.
    • Choose which character is your main in Settings. On Free, one click makes a realm of your characters your home realm.
    • Item, realm, Deals and Movers pages open faster.
    • Free accounts: the limit of three alerts counts single alerts and alert groups together, as the pricing page says.
    • Pro: if a renewal payment fails for good, Pro pauses, and it comes back by itself as soon as the payment goes through.
    • While a Pro subscription is still running, Get Pro takes you to your account to manage it instead of starting a second one.
    • Fixes several other issues.
  9. Web

    1.53.0

    • Price alerts now live in your account: sign in with Discord to set one, and it comes back to the item you were on. Alerts you made before without signing in keep working from their own link.
    • Your account page lists the computers your companion is connected on, each with a Disconnect button for a PC you no longer use.
    • TSM Accounting import: Replace now replaces only the region you import, so another region's history stays, and exports up to 5 MB are accepted.
  10. Web

    1.52.0

    • Your Pro: one page for what Pro gives you. Right after you buy, and any day after from the account menu, it shows each Pro tool as a card: what works now, which short step switches the rest on, and what Free gets next to it. Your three most profitable crafts today sit underneath, with your plan and how to cancel.
    • A reminder, at most every two weeks. When a Pro tool you have is not working for you yet, a small card says which one and how to start. Close it three times and it stops.
    • The pricing page, redrawn. A yearly switch, the two plans side by side, Pro shown working, and a comparison of only the lines that change.
    • The welcome email lists what works now and what needs a step, its button opens Your Pro, and it no longer promises things Pro does not do.
    • A paying Pro account that has not connected the companion within a few hours gets one message about the one step left, on Discord or by email, and nothing after it.
    • Crafting, Ledger, Auctions and Alerts show a short hint where Pro could already be doing more for you: a second realm to compare, a companion that has gone quiet, an alert worth setting. One hint a day at most, and "Not now" puts it away for two weeks.
    • Starting a new Pro subscription after an old one ended no longer loses Pro when the old one finally closes.
    • Auctions: a lot you still have up is no longer marked as gone when the addon sends only part of your list.
  11. Companion

    1.18.0

    • On Windows the Companion now downloads as an .msi installer. It installs into Program Files, so Windows asks for administrator rights while it installs and when you accept an update. If you already have the Companion, keep it: it goes on updating itself as before.
    • The download's file name now says which version it is.
    • Opening the Companion on Windows while it is already running brings up its window instead of starting a second one.
  12. Web

    1.51.1

    • WoW: Forever: an item the game has only just added, and that has no page on the site yet, is named on recipe, profession and camping pages without a link, instead of a link to a missing page.
    • The realm picker under the main menu now comes with the page instead of appearing a moment after it.
  13. Web

    1.51.0

    • A link to goldcap.gg shows a proper preview. Paste one into Discord, Telegram or anywhere else that draws a card: an item link shows the item's price now and its line over the last 30 days, the WoW Token page today's Token price, a profession what levelling it costs today, and the front page live counts for Retail and WoW: Forever side by side. WoW: Forever pages have cards of their own, every card is in the language of the page, and the pictures are sharp.
  14. Web

    1.50.0

    • The companion's Windows download is now an .msi installer, and the file you save carries its version in its name. Old links to the companion's download still work and lead to the current installer.
  15. Web

    1.49.2

    • WoW: Forever: after the beta's latest patch, the site accepts scans again and the addon shows shared prices again.
    • WoW: Forever: a recipe that makes an item the game has only just added shows that item's icon.
  16. Web

    1.49.1

    • WoW: Forever: item tooltips show resistances and "Equip:" bonuses. Fire, Frost, Nature, Shadow and Arcane resistance, bonus armor, and the lines for critical strike, hit, dodge, parry, healing, spell power, attack power, mana per 5 seconds and the rest now read as they do in the game, with ratings shown as the percent the game prints.
    • On the realm pages in Russian, the word after a rounded number agrees with it ("17K предметов").
  17. Web

    1.49.0

    • The realms page shows every realm as a market. The region's three biggest markets come first, then every realm with how many lots and how many different items it has right now, a bar against the biggest one, and every realm that shares its auction house. Narrow the list by language and sort it by lots, items or name. Your own realm sits at the top of the page.
    • A realm's page says where it pays. It opens with the realm's place in the region and its size, then the items that are cheaper to buy there than across the region beside the ones that sell for more, with the gold a day each gap is worth. One button makes it your realm, another sets up a Discord alert for it. The realm's items can be narrowed by category (plate, weapons, rings, recipes, pets, mounts and more), and markets of the same size are linked at the bottom.
    • WoW: Forever: tooltips for the items only Classic Era describes now show their armor, damage, speed and stats, and a wand's damage line names its school, such as "26 - 49 Fire Damage".
    • An item's realm panel shows its bonus sets as a grid of item levels: the cheapest price on the realm, the lots and how many sets each level holds, instead of one long row per set.
    • The row of item levels has arrows when it is wider than the screen, so a mouse reaches every level.
    • The WoW: Forever search opens its results over the page instead of pushing everything below it down.
    • The companion's download page says it works with WoW: Forever too.
  18. Web

    1.48.0

    • Seven days of Pro when your companion first syncs. No card and nothing to cancel: Pro switches on by itself the first time the companion sends your sales and auctions, and simply ends a week later without charging anything. Your account page shows how many days are left and your week in numbers (sales, gold from sales, auctions watched and undercut), and the day before it ends a Discord message sums up the week. If you already use the companion, it starts at your next sync.
    • Your auctions on Discord without Pro. Turn on notices on the My auctions page and you get one Discord message a day with your lots that were undercut, sold or expired. Pro still sends it the minute it happens.
    • Your week in gold, every Monday. The same channel brings a summary of the week: how many sales and how much gold they brought. With Pro it also names your best seller, compares the week with the one before and counts what was undercut or expired. You can turn it off beside the other notices.
    • The locked Ledger and My auctions pages open with your own week: how many sales and how much gold they brought, or how many of your lots were undercut. Every locked card, and an item page for anyone who sells, says how to get the free week.
    • The items page opens with the market as it is right now. Search is at the top, with the most-listed goods and the WoW Token price beside it. Below come a price table, the biggest moves and deals, shelves for each category and answers to common questions about where the prices come from. The full catalog with its filters is further down the page; a search shows it straight away.
    • A map of the whole market on the items page. Every trade good, consumable, gem and enchantment is a tile: the more lots listed, the bigger it is, and its colour is how far prices moved over 24 hours or 7 days. Point at one to see what moved inside it.
    • Gear on a character sheet. Pick cloth, leather, mail or plate, then a slot (head, legs, rings, trinkets and the rest) to see every piece for that slot. Armor pages have the same type and slot buttons, and the weapons page sorts weapons by kind: one-handed swords, daggers, staves, bows and so on.
    • New categories: cloaks, necklaces, rings, trinkets, shields and off-hands, shirts and tabards, cosmetic gear, and profession tools and gear. Cloaks are no longer mixed into cloth armor.
    • WoW: Forever: gear for your level. Pick a level and cloth, leather, mail or plate: each slot shows the best piece you can wear that is on the auction house now, its price, and a cheaper one when it is nearly as good. Weapons are sorted by kind, and every slot opens a list of its best pieces with what each one requires.
    • WoW: Forever: every item with its auction house price. A new Items page sorts every tradeable item into categories (consumables, armor, recipes, weapons, trade goods and more) with how many have a price right now. Each category is a full list, dearest first, that you can narrow by kind or sort by quality, name, level or vendor price. An item's page links back to its category.
    • A new item page for trade goods. The top answers three questions at once: what one costs to buy right now and how many are listed at that price, how that compares with the usual price, and how fast it sells. Beside the price chart is the auction house as it stands, the cheapest listings with a running total and a calculator for a stack. Below are whether it sells at your price (the share that sold within a day at each price, with what each step costs today), recent sales, what it is crafted into and answers to common questions. Quality ranks are tabs under the name, each with its price.
    • A new item page for gear. Item levels are tabs at the top, each with its cheapest price. The page opens with the cheapest listing in your region and the realm it is on, the price on your own realm with how many realms are cheaper, and the typical price. A chart puts every realm's price on one line so you can see where yours sits, and next to it is a list of the cheapest realms to buy from.
    • Gear no longer gets a "good deal" or "overpriced" label. One item comes at many item levels, and a label across all of them misled more than it helped. What was called fair value is now the usual price.
    • On a phone, the price alert and BUY list buttons stay at the bottom of an item page once you scroll past them.
    • "About this item" now looks like the item's tooltip in the game, and "Used in" shows the icon of each item it crafts into.
    • A trade good's page title and the card shown when you share its link now give the price you can buy at right now, the same one the page shows.
    • goldcap.gg/auction-house opens the items page.
    • The catalog no longer starts with the Pet Cage, and no longer shows discounts such as -100% on items that barely sell for anything.
    • The crafting board no longer lists a recipe whose profit only exists because a few lots ask a silly price, such as a 5g glamour listed at 3,999g. On an item page, Crafted from now says such a price is not confirmed by sales instead of showing it as profit.
    • The Pro button on a locked card no longer squeezes the text beside it into a narrow column on a phone; it moves under the text.
    • The pricing page lists the daily summary of your auctions under Free, and under Pro the gold Pro role on the GoldCap Discord that every paying member gets.
  19. Addon

    0.18.2

    • The Sniper's column names (Item, Verdict, Price and the rest) show the first time the window opens. They could stay blank until you clicked one.
  20. Web

    1.47.1

    • On an item page with many item levels, the list of levels no longer opens by itself and fills the side column. It shows the first few levels; the rest open on a click. The item's description now sits at the top of that column.
    • WoW: Forever's list of new items, in Russian and German, said the build number belonged to the Forever client. It is the Classic Era build the list is compared with, and the sentence now says so.
  21. Web

    1.47.0

    • Item pages open faster, and switching realm, item level or chart period is instant.
    • On an item page, the activity filter now opens the full activity feed.
  22. Addon

    0.18.1

    • In the BUY tab, the line of an item you have not looked at yet this session answers right after a search. It could sit on "..." for about ten seconds before.
  23. Web

    1.46.0

    • The crafting board lists every rank of a recipe. It used to show one row per recipe, the rank that sells most often, so the dearer ranks, such as Enchant Weapon: Flames of the Sin'dorei rank 2, were nowhere on the board. Each rank is now its own row with its own price and the reagent quality it needs. The detail panel says that a higher rank takes more skill, Concentration or reagents of better quality.
    • A live price is marked as live. Pro: when an alert group's Last price came from your own addon scan rather than the hourly snapshot, a small bolt sits next to it. Hover it to see how long ago the scan was.
    • Item details are shown in the site's language. The type, slot and binding of an item ("Tradeskill / Herb", "Chest", "Binds when picked up") used to stay in English on every page. They now read in your language on the item page, in item lists, the New list and saved lists.
    • WoW: Forever has a Camping page. Every campfire kit and camp object in one table: the profession and skill that makes it, the Blueprint that teaches the recipe, how many camp objects a kit holds, how often an object can be used, and what its reagents cost at the auction house of the market you pick. A first object of a profession is taught by a quest the game does not say anything about, so the page says that instead of guessing. It is in the Forever menu.
  24. Web

    1.45.2

    • Item pages show how an item is crafted at every quality rank. Only one rank of a recipe used to have the Crafted from card, so Thalassian Phoenix Oil rank 2 and most Gleeful Glamours looked like nobody could make them. Each rank is priced at its own price, with the reagent quality it needs.
    • Used in lists the recipes that take a reagent with quality ranks, such as Evercore, Eversinging Dust and the Midnight leathers, which used to show none. It leaves out a recipe whose profit rests on one absurdly priced listing.
    • The four Midnight mote transmutes are on the crafting pages.
    • Item icons that had gone missing, Stag Meat's among about 400, come back and stay.
    • More for this item no longer opens the Flips or Arbitrage board, which never showed the item you came from.
  25. Addon

    0.18.0

    • A craft now gets a cost when its reagents came from a vendor, from something you crafted yourself, or from another of your characters, not only from your own auction house purchases. Crafting reagents you buy at a merchant are remembered at the price you paid. Reagents you gathered or got without buying are counted at their current auction house price, and /gc craft and the Sold tab's tooltip say which ones and that the cost is partly an estimate. A craft that still cannot be priced no longer leaves the reagents you did buy on the books as if you still held them.
    • The BUY tab is simpler. Each line shows the item and how many are left to buy, the price each and what the rest costs; a line that cannot be bought right now says why in a word instead. One button at the bottom buys the line you clicked: press BUY, check Blizzard's price, then press CONFIRM, or Cancel.
    • Hover a line to see the item's own full tooltip, beside the GoldCap window, and under it what is left to buy and what you have, the prices it would buy at and how many at each, the market price and your cap. For gear it lists the lots by price and the one the next press buys; for an item a vendor sells, the vendor's price.
    • A line over your cap says what the cheapest one costs and what your cap is, and offers to raise the cap or skip the line. Right-click any line to skip it for now or type a cap of your own.
    • The top of the BUY tab shows how much of the list is done and what the rest costs to buy here. The BUY button on the left counts the lines ready to buy.
    • Long lists have a search box and a filter. The search ignores capital letters and accents in every language.
    • A wide GoldCap window lists all your lists on the left.
    • Items a list's profession route crafts itself show as lines to craft, not to buy.
    • The BUY tab speaks every language GoldCap speaks; it was in English until now.
    • Copy vendor list is in the list menu.
    • In WoW: Forever, the market price in BUY says how many players' scans it comes from and how old it is.
    • When a quest lets you choose a reward, GoldCap puts a gold frame around the one worth the most on the auction house, and a line under the rewards says what it is worth. A reward the auction house has no price for, such as soulbound gear, is never marked.
    • At a vendor, a small GoldCap note beside the vendor window says how many items in your bags fetch more on the auction house than the vendor pays, and how much more, so you can keep them for the auction house.
    • The SOLD tab is new. At the top: what you got in the chosen period, your profit where GoldCap knows the cost, and in WoW: Forever how far you are on the road to level 40 riding. Pick today, 7 or 30 days, or search by name.
    • Sales show the item's icon and quality colour, grouped by day in WoW: Forever. Hover a sale to see where the money went: the sale price, the auction house cut, what you got, what you paid and the profit, and how the price compares with the market now.
    • In the SELL tab every column is as wide as its longest text, so nothing is cut or written over in any language.
    • The GoldCap logo sits at the top of the side bar, and the tab buttons keep the same soft highlight on hover after you have visited them.
    • GoldCap's tooltips join their details with commas, which every game language's font can draw.
    • Gear and other items that are not sold in stacks can now be bought in the BUY tab: one lot per press, the cheapest first, and never above your cap. The bottom of the tab lists the lots by price. Before, the button only opened the auction house's own page.
    • At a vendor, GoldCap lists the items of your BUY list that this vendor sells at or under your cap, each with a button that buys what you still need, up to a full stack per press.
    • Make lists of your own right in the BUY tab: + New starts one, or use the box at the top of the tab. Shift-click as many items into it as you like, or type item ids, and press Enter to add them all. Type part of a name to pick from the items GoldCap already knows from your bags, bank, lists, purchases and sales. Your last searches and items wait under the box, one click away. The lists you make stay in the game. Right-click a line to take it off again.
    • Import a TSM item string or an Auctionator shopping list as a new list or into one of yours, and export any list for Auctionator or TSM. A name the game cannot place is named back to you, and the rest is imported.
    • Right-click a list to rename it, pin it to the top as a favourite, move it up or down, or delete it. Lists from goldcap.gg are renamed and deleted on the site.
    • Search the auction house right in the BUY tab, as in Auctionator's Shopping tab: with the auction house open, type a name in the box at the top and press Enter. Every item on sale comes back with its cheapest price and how many are up; each item level of a piece of gear has its own line, and More results loads the rest. Back takes you to your list, which stays as it was.
    • Click a result to buy it at the bottom of the tab: set how many, press BUY, check Blizzard's price, then CONFIRM; gear is bought one item per press. Your usual cap holds, the market price times your BUY cap, and you can raise it or right-click the result to type your own. Gear with no market price waits for a cap of yours.
    • Right-click a result to add it to one of your lists, or to a new one, with how many you want.
    • Without the auction house, the box still offers the items GoldCap knows and says to open the auction house to search what is on sale.
    • Menus, tooltips, chat messages and GoldCap's own labels no longer show empty boxes in place of a dot, an arrow or a triangle in some languages.
  26. Companion

    1.17.0

    • WoW: Forever: your BUY lists from goldcap.gg now reach the addon in your Forever install too, priced from the auction house you scan, and what you buy through the BUY tab there goes back to goldcap.gg, so the list's page shows how far you are. Needs the matching addon release.
    • A line that a profession route crafts along the way reaches the addon as one to craft, not to buy, and a cap you set on a line on goldcap.gg reaches the addon as that line's cap.
  27. Web

    1.45.0

    • Pages open faster, item pages most of all, and stay quick while search engines and AI crawlers read the site in bulk. On a phone the first screen downloads less before it appears.
    • The Profit page leads with one number: realized profit for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and how it compares with the same stretch before it.
    • Beside it: what you would have if you sold everything now, and your net worth. The chart switches between profit and gold on hand, and the notes on how complete the figure is fold into one line you can open.
    • Open positions have a Needs attention filter that counts the lots that are undercut, below break-even or held over 30 days, and says on each one why. Listed and In bags sit next to it, and the list says it shows the biggest loss first.
    • The top of the page says when the Companion last synced, and after three days without a sync it suggests starting it.
    • While your ledger loads, the page says so. If it can't load, it tells you your trades are safe and offers Try again and a link to ask on Discord.
    • Signed out, the Profit page shows an example ledger with sample numbers, and the three things you need for your own: the addon, the Companion and a sign-in.
    • Add to BUY list: item pages (retail and WoW: Forever), Deals and crafting have a button that puts the item, or a recipe's reagents for as many crafts as you want, on one of your BUY lists or on a new one. It reaches the addon's BUY tab at the next Companion sync.
    • A BUY list's page shows every line the way the addon will buy it: price each, what it costs, and whether it is ready, over your cap, sold by a vendor, crafted on the route or already bought, with what the addon would buy right now in total ("Ready to buy"). When only part of a line is under the cap or on sale, the line says so. Recompute, sharing and the TSM and Auctionator copies sit at the top of the list.
    • With the GoldCap Companion running, a list shows what you bought in game: how many lines, what you spent, how that compares to the market price, and when it last synced.
    • On a line that is over your cap you can set the cap yourself; the addon waits until the price comes down to it. A cap you set stays on its line, where you can change it or go back to the default, and a cap more than ten times the usual price asks once more before it is saved.
    • WoW: Forever: a profession route can be saved as a BUY list, and Forever lists are priced from players' scans of their own market.
    • Signed out, My auctions shows an example of what you get — your lots with their status and the Discord message sent when one is undercut — next to what you need (the GoldCap addon and the Companion app), what Pro costs, and both ways to sign in: Discord or Battle.net.
    • Signed out, Price alerts shows an example of your alerts and the Discord message one sends, how many you get (3 without Pro, unlimited with Pro), both ways to sign in, and a search that takes you straight to an item's alert. That alert page now offers sign-in first, and brings you back to the same item afterwards.
    • The menus and the pages that ask you to sign in say "Sign in with Battle.net" instead of "Connect Battle.net".
    • A link to a realm that does not exist in a region now says so ("No realm called Silvermoon in KR") and searches that region's realms; an unknown item number says so and searches items.
    • Deals opens with more deals, and with a home realm picked it adds that realm's deals too. On a phone the list starts near the top of the page, every item name is shown in full, each row says what you pay, what it sells for, what you keep and how fast it sells, and "How it works" is one tap away.
    • Crafting explains each recipe once — sale price, auction house cut, reagents, profit — says what happens "if the price dips" in plain words, no longer shows a profitable recipe's return in red, and puts the profession filters in one row you can swipe on a phone. The recipe's name and each reagent open that item's page.
    • Arbitrage and Flips show how old their prices are instead of the time you opened the page; Flips names the last full day of prices it uses, in UTC.
    • On a phone, the arbitrage board shows each item's full name, with the realm, the price and the gold a day underneath.
    • A realm's "Arbitrage: realm vs region" lists the items that sell first, ranked by the gold a day each gap is worth (shown on the row), then the rest by the size of the gap, and says why gaps over 60% are left out.
    • The phone menu now links the addon page and pricing.
    • With a home realm in Europe, Korea or Taiwan you can still open the US home page, from the home page's region buttons or the US tab of the realm picker, and its menu and logo then lead to US pages. Opening goldcap.gg later still takes you to your own region's home page.
    • Home in the breadcrumbs of item categories, and on error pages, goes to your region's home page.
    • The Pro offer no longer opens over the page while you are reading. If you have an offer running, its reminder is a small button in the corner, above any bar at the bottom of the screen, and you can hide it.
    • Item and commodity lists show long item names in full instead of cutting them off, and a row you tap lights up straight away while its page loads.
    • The home page's region buttons and the links in the phone menu are bigger and easier to tap.
    • Pages load faster on phones: each page downloads only its own background picture, a smaller copy of it on a phone, and pictures further down the page wait until you scroll to them.
    • Large gold amounts read 2.1k g and 2.2M g, so they no longer look like kilograms, and they use your language's decimal comma, such as 2,1k g in German.
    • The timing heatmap names its time zone the way you would, such as UTC+3 (Kyiv). If your clock is not a whole number of hours from UTC, such as in India or Newfoundland, the heatmap stays in UTC and says so.
    • Recently viewed on item pages starts fresh and now lists items by their names in the language you are reading.
    • Movers no longer calls a market "dead" next to an FAQ that says every mover sells: each row says whether its market is liquid or thin, the FAQ gives the actual rule, and the median card is named Typical move (median).
    • WoW: Forever pages have their own line in the footer.
    • Item pages answer first: the cheapest price, whether it is a fair price and how far it is from fair value, and how fast it sells, in one line, with a scale from cheaper to pricier and the price alert right under it. On a phone the alert is on the first screen, and nothing is pinned over the page any more. Long item names are shown in full. About this item sits beside the answer instead of at the foot of the page, and names the required level and slot in your language.
    • Will it sell? shows three figures in plain words — how much sells before it expires, how much sells per day across the region, and how long what is listed now takes to sell — and keeps the chance of selling at each price one tap away.
    • The price chart marks each day once at midnight, draws fair value as a dashed line, gives the quantity listed a strip of its own, and writes large amounts as 12.5k g instead of 12.5kg.
    • Tapping 90 days without Pro shows what Pro costs right where the chart was, with a way back to 30 days, instead of opening the pricing page.
    • Home in an item's breadcrumb goes to the home page of the item's region.
    • Long names and descriptions are shown in full everywhere instead of being cut off: item, realm and profession names, the home page's boards and links, the phone menu, the header's search and realm picker, and your name in the account menu (a long one shows in full when you open it).
    • The search fields on the home page and the WoW: Forever pages fit a phone in every language, and their Check price button becomes an arrow there.
    • The price alert form and the accounting import write the address of your alert page and the folder of your accounting file correctly instead of with stray character codes.
    • On item pages, sold per day and the realm counts use your language's number format (1,6 Mio. in German), and the price chart's axis writes 12,5k g in German. Gear that nobody is selling right now says so instead of "0 listings".
    • The TradeSkillMaster guide now says where to find an item's median: hover or tap a day on the price chart.
  28. Addon

    0.17.2

    • In WoW: Forever, one scan no longer prints its summary twice in chat when the game hands the auction house over in two parts.
    • In WoW: Forever, the SCAN button now says it is scanning for the whole scan, including the one that starts when you open the auction house, and pressing it meanwhile no longer starts a second scan. The AUTO button shows the same, and an empty Deals list says "Scanning the auction house…" for as long as the scan runs instead of flickering "No deals in your last scan".
    • The SCAN button is wide enough for its label in every language.
    • In WoW: Forever, the verdict in the Deals list ("Below vendor", "Under market") has its own, wider column and shorter wording, so it reads in full.
    • In WoW: Forever, the tips after a scan are said once per session, and the bag and upgrade lines only when they have changed.
  29. Addon

    0.17.1

    • The Sell tab no longer stutters every few seconds while it refreshes prices.
    • In WoW: Forever, the BUY tab no longer treats your own single scan as the usual price. USUAL and the price limit now come from the community price, and a line with none shows a dash and has no limit.
  30. Web

    1.44.2

    • With a home realm in Europe, Korea or Taiwan, opening goldcap.gg or pressing Retail in the header takes you straight to your region's home page, instead of showing US prices first and then loading the page a second time.
    • Going back to a page you opened a little earlier, or switching between Retail and WoW: Forever, shows it straight away instead of loading every price block again.
    • On WoW: Forever item pages, the price chart's hover box keeps the same width as you move along the chart, with its amounts lined up in one column.
    • On WoW: Forever item pages, the price chart joins every scan to the next one: hours or days without a scan are a dashed line instead of a break, so scattered scans read as one price line.
  31. Web

    1.44.1

    • Switching region on a page you visited before, such as crafting, items or deals, now highlights the region you are on straight away, without a second click.
    • The highlighted item in the site menu is drawn cleanly, and all menu items sit on one line.
  32. Web

    1.44.0

    • WoW: Forever has a new page, What's rising and falling: the items whose auction house price moved most over the last hour, six hours, a day or a week, rising and falling side by side, each with its earlier price, a small chart and how many players' scans stand behind it. The price boards on the WoW: Forever home page link to it.
    • Link previews of Chinese and Korean item pages show the item name instead of empty boxes.
  33. Web

    1.43.0

    • WoW: Forever item pages show the item's in-game tooltip: armor, weapon damage and speed, stats, Equip and Use effects, class restrictions and item sets, in all ten languages.
    • WoW: Forever has a new page, What pays to craft right now: every recipe with a known profit, best first, with the profit per craft, what it sells for, what the reagents cost and how fresh the prices are. Filter it by profession and skill, or jump to it from any profession page.
    • On a phone, swiping the WoW: Forever home page's price boards moves one board at a time instead of jumping past the second and back.
  34. Web

    1.42.1

    • The WoW: Forever release date page was redrawn: a countdown, the launch time in six cities, a road-to-launch timeline, illustrated server types and a price check.
    • Links across the site — menus, footer and the Pro and alert panels — keep the language you're reading it in.
  35. Web

    1.42.0

    • WoW: Forever has a page with its release date and time in several time zones, its server types (Normal, PvP, RP) and when the beta ends.
    • WoW: Forever pages can switch between the Americas and Europe, and the Forever home page remembers the region you picked.
    • The search on WoW: Forever pages (the one opened with ⌘K or /) now shows each item's auction house price and its vendor price next to the name, like the search on the Forever landing page.
    • The addon page and the WoW: Forever page now explain why one odd listing, or one odd scan, can't break a price.
    • New in WoW: Forever for Europe, sorted by price, no longer shows "Something went wrong" while Europe has no auction house yet; it lists the items in their usual order.
    • Pages load once, in place. On most pages the header, the footer and a few blocks in between were drawn twice while the page loaded, and a piece of the header could flash up in the middle of the page before snapping back.
    • Signing in, from the header, the menu, a plan card or any page that asks you to, brings you back to the page you were on instead of the home page.
    • On a screen that is not tall enough for the whole Pro offer, the offer window now scrolls and keeps its sign-up button in view, instead of cutting off the bottom of the offer.
  36. Addon

    0.17.0

    • In WoW: Forever, once the GoldCap Companion has sent your scan, GoldCap tells you in chat how many prices it updated on your auction house and how many of them nobody else had in the last 24 hours — once per scan, after your next /reload. The first scan on an auction house nobody had scanned says you opened it. Needs GoldCap Companion 1.16.0.
  37. Addon

    0.16.1

    • In WoW: Forever, a scan the game cut short no longer prices items from the part it read: those prices came out too high (Linen Cloth at 2 gold when the cheapest was 64 copper). GoldCap now takes those items' prices from its pass over the whole auction house, and keeps your earlier scan's price for anything that pass did not reach.
  38. Companion

    1.16.0

    • WoW: Forever: after a scan is sent, the Forever card on the Status screen shows how many prices it updated on your auction house, and how many of them nobody else had in the last 24 hours. The first scan on an auction house nobody had scanned yet says you opened it.
  39. Companion

    1.15.0

    • First run now asks which WoW you play. A WoW: Forever player can finish setup and start syncing without ever pointing the Companion at a retail install — no realm, no retail folder, nothing to skip.
    • Settings has a "Games" section to turn Retail or WoW: Forever on or off at any time, with its own folder and its own "Change…" for each — Retail and WoW: Forever no longer have to share one folder, so they work correctly even installed on two different drives.
    • Setup now also looks where Battle.net says WoW is installed, so it finds WoW on another drive or in a folder of your own choosing.
    • The Status screen shows a card per game you have turned on — a Forever card with your last scan and the crowd prices that came back, a Retail card with today's three stages — instead of one fixed layout for everyone.
    • When goldcap.gg answers slowly, prices still come through: the Companion now waits longer for a realm's prices and tries again a couple of times before giving up.
    • When prices cannot be fetched, the Status screen now says why: the site took too long to answer, or your computer could not connect to it.
  40. Web

    1.41.1

    • A handful of very cheap units listed far below a busy market no longer drag that item's market value down to their price, so its worth and its deals follow the market itself.
    • WoW: Forever's strip under the header stops calling the market "Beta" once the beta has closed, and after launch it drops the "opens on" dates.
    • New in WoW: Forever no longer lists Blizzard's unfinished placeholder items, such as "[DNT] Crafted Tier Piece Placeholder".
    • The alerts pages no longer say every alert goes to a webhook. An alert sent to your Discord messages says so, and its test button sends you a test DM.
  41. Web

    1.41.0

    • WoW: Forever lists now say how they are made. Above New in Forever, its categories, the level tiles on the home page, each profession's route, new recipes and gathered goods, and the recipes near a skill on a recipe page, one sentence gives the rule, and small counters show how many rows are shown and how many are left out and why, such as items that bind on pickup or recipes with a cooldown.
    • A long recipe name in a profession's route (German has plenty) now wraps instead of pushing the page sideways on a phone.
  42. Web

    1.40.0

    • WoW: Forever item pages have a new market picker: pick a server type (Beta, Normal, PvP, RP) and a faction, and the page shows that market's price, order book and price chart — or, when nobody has scanned it yet, what a vendor pays and where the item does have a price. One card now answers what it is worth, whether to sell it or vendor it, what to list it at and how far to trust the number, and the reference material — recipes, item details, common questions — sits below, folded on a phone.
    • A WoW: Forever item page now draws its price over time for the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days: the AH value hour by hour, the cheapest lot, what a vendor pays, and the same server type's other faction as a thin second line.
    • WoW: Forever item pages now compare markets at a glance: every market that has a price, with how many players scanned it and how long ago, and one line for the server types that have no auction house yet.
    • WoW: Forever item pages now say in one line whether the item is the same as in Classic Era, and what changed if it is not.
    • WoW: Forever item pages now answer a handful of common questions right on the page — what the item is worth, what it's used for, whether it's new, and whether to sell it or vendor it.
    • WoW: Forever items that showed a question mark now show their real icons.
    • WoW: Forever has a Markets page for the Americas and for Europe. Every auction house is a tile — Beta (Americas only), Normal, PvP and RP, for Alliance and Horde — with when it was last scanned, how many players scan it, how many items have a price, and whether to read its prices as an early read, a market or stale. Server types that have not opened yet say when they open.
    • After the GoldCap Companion (1.16.0 and later) sends your WoW: Forever scan, it shows how many prices your scan updated on your auction house and how many of them nobody else had in the last 24 hours. The first scan on an auction house nobody had scanned says so.
    • WoW: Forever recipe pages now lead with what one craft earns, with the sale, the auction house cut and the reagents added up, and show every market side by side. A recipe's pattern shows its own price and how many crafts pay it back, and the recipes near it show their profit.
  43. Web

    1.39.3

    • Prices for the GoldCap addon come back from goldcap.gg much faster, so the Companion no longer gives up waiting for them.
    • The WoW: Forever home page now looks right on phones and on very wide screens: the art no longer repeats or gets cut off, nothing appears faded while you scroll, the header no longer shows the page through it, and the page keeps the same width as the header and footer. On a phone, the addon card is shorter and cleaner and New in Forever is a two-column grid. On a small tablet or a phone held sideways, the How Forever prices work cards stack instead of squeezing into three narrow columns.
    • WoW: Forever home page, new look for What pays at your level and Professions: two new pictures (Elwynn and Old Ironforge), level tabs that always fit on a phone, and item tiles that match the boards. Professions no longer sits right above What pays at your level, and New in Forever no longer lets its text run onto the picture on a small laptop screen.
    • WoW: Forever home page, Under market right now and Price movers now say how each list is made, in one sentence. Every row shows the item's icon, how many are for sale at that price and how old the price is. Under market shows the usual price, how far under it the lot is and a grade (Great, Good or Fair), and tells you how many lots it left out and why. Price movers shows the earlier price and, once a market has enough history, a small trend line.
    • The search box and its ⌘K in the top bar no longer get pushed out or cut off in Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, or when you are signed in with a long name. The box now uses the room it has, and the menu links that do not fit move under More.
    • On a phone, the Retail / Forever switch now sits in the top bar on Retail pages too, and in the menu it is a compact switch instead of a stretched bar.
    • On the addon page, the artwork now runs behind the top bar instead of starting under it, so the bar is no longer a plain dark strip.
    • WoW: Forever recipe pages now use a short URL (/forever/recipes/2657) instead of one with the recipe's name in it. An old link still works — it lands on the new page.
    • A date at the end of a sentence in Russian no longer gets a doubled full stop.
  44. Addon

    0.16.0

    • GoldCap now runs in WoW: Forever, and buys and sells at its live auction house. Type /gc forever to see what GoldCap can use in your client.
    • In WoW: Forever, GoldCap scans the auction house when you open it (the game allows a full scan once every 15 minutes) and when you press SCAN on the Deals tab. Tooltips there show the item's auction house value from your latest scan and how old it is, and whether to sell it on the auction house, to a vendor, or not at all because it is not worth the auction house deposit.
    • In WoW: Forever the Sell tab prices from your scan, and its POST queue skips anything a vendor pays more for. Type /gc bags to see what your bags are worth at a vendor and on the auction house.
    • In WoW: Forever, the Sell tab's POST button and its key binding first bring up the posting queue when it is not already showing, and post on the next press.
    • In WoW: Forever, the Deals board lists what your last scan found under the vendor price: items you can buy on the auction house and sell to a vendor for more. Each row says the most to pay and what a vendor gives. Check looks at the auction house live, and Buy buys only what is still under that price, within your per-buy wallet limit and your "Max units per buy". While "Max wallet per buy %" is at its default, these buys may use up to half your gold.
    • The Deals board in WoW: Forever also lists commodities offered far under their auction house value (what the cheapest tenth of the units listed ask), after the auction house cut and deposit. These are riskier than vendor deals, and the row says so: your scan cannot tell how fast an item sells.
    • In the buy window, pressing Buy while you are still typing a quantity now shows the total for that quantity first; press Buy again to buy it.
    • The Sell tab's POST button and its key binding no longer post a different item than the one they name while a Cancel or Remove is waiting for your confirmation.
    • In the Sell tab, a lot waiting for a live price now says "no live price", and the cancel button says "NO LIVE PRICE YET" instead of "NOTHING TO CANCEL" while it waits. In WoW: Forever, AT MARKET counts what your scan says your stock is worth when the auction house has not answered a live price yet.
    • The Sell panel says how long ago it last saw a live price for the item, instead of a red "stale".
    • GoldCap is listed under "Auctions" in the AddOns list.
    • In WoW: Forever, the Settings screen now shows only what applies there: no Brakes card, no "Min return per buy %", and no live-price-cap toggle. "Min profit per buy" is its own setting there, in copper, so changing it never touches retail's own "Min profit per buy".
    • In WoW: Forever, with the GoldCap Companion, tooltips and the Deals board's "Under market" rows use prices from every player's scans, and each says how many players scanned it and how long ago. Your own scan still counts first when it is newer. After a scan, the chat says it will be shared on your next /reload when the Companion is set up to share it.
    • In WoW: Forever, the Sold tab opens with Road to 40: your gold plus what your bags would fetch, against the level-40 riding cost you set with /gc mount (Blizzard has not published it yet), and the level you reach it at your pace. /gc mount share puts a line about it in your chat box to send.
    • In WoW: Forever, /gc upgrades lists, for each equipment slot, the cheapest piece in your last auction house scan that beats what you wear and that your character can use. Pieces are compared by their own stats and stat weights you can see and change with /gc weights. After a scan, GoldCap says how many upgrades it found.
    • In WoW: Forever, GoldCap counts what drops from what you loot, per creature and zone, with no names, for drop rates on goldcap.gg once the Companion shares it. /gc loot off stops it.
  45. Companion

    1.14.0

    • WoW: Forever: the Companion now finds your Forever install next to retail. After each /reload it sends your Forever auction house scan to goldcap.gg, and it brings back the Forever prices every player's scans add up to, so the addon's tooltips and Deals board use them. Pair the Companion to share your scans; prices count in public only from accounts with Battle.net linked on goldcap.gg. Needs the matching addon release.
    • The Status screen lists the game folders the Companion found and, for WoW: Forever, when your last scan was sent and how many prices came back.
  46. Web

    1.39.2

    • WoW: Forever prices no longer come from a scan the game cut short. One such scan had put Linen Cloth at 2 gold when the cheapest was 64 copper.
    • WoW: Forever scans from a GoldCap account without a Battle.net link now count too. Where an account with a link scanned the same item in the same hour, its price comes first.
    • On a WoW: Forever item page, the second figure is now the item's AH value, the same number the GoldCap addon shows on its tooltip.
    • The WoW: Forever price movers board fills in on a market's first day: each item is compared with its price nearest to a day earlier, and the row says how many hours back that was.
    • On the WoW: Forever home page, each item in the addon's example backpack now opens that item's page.
  47. Web

    1.39.1

    • On the WoW: Forever home page, an item's tooltip in New in Forever is no longer covered by the icons next to it.
  48. Web

    1.39.0

    • WoW: Forever now has its own home page and item pages on goldcap.gg, ahead of launch.
    • WoW: Forever: item pages, the Forever home page, its search, the level tiles and New in Forever show auction house prices from players' scans. Each price says how many players scanned it and how long ago; prices from the beta are marked as the Beta market.
    • New in Forever splits into categories (consumables, armor, recipes, weapons, trade goods, misc, containers, quest) with a filter for the kind of item inside each one, sorting, and a compact list instead of one long scroll.
    • WoW: Forever professions. Every profession has a page: the recipes that are new in Forever, every recipe with the skill where it turns yellow, green and grey, and for a crafting profession the cheapest route from 1 to 300 with each step's reagents. A reagent's price comes from players' scans when there is a recent one, otherwise from a vendor, and each line says which. A recipe with a cooldown, such as Mooncloth or a transmute, shows it in the recipe list and is left out of the route. "Which profession should I take?" compares them all with today's numbers: what gathering fetches and what crafting costs to level.
    • WoW: Forever item pages now show which recipes use an item as a reagent, which recipes craft it, and — for a pattern, plan or formula — the recipe it teaches.
    • Every WoW: Forever recipe now has its own page, with its reagents and their prices, where to learn it, its skill thresholds, and whether it pays for itself on the auction house today.
    • Price alerts on gear, pets and other items sold per realm now open an alert group, where you pick the realms to watch. A single alert only ever watched the region-wide market, so on these items it could never go off. Any you already have now say so on your alerts page.
    • A few crafting reagents that were shown as sold per realm (Snakeskin Lining, Adorned Fang and others) now show their region-wide prices.
    • Links on the Portuguese, Latin American Spanish and Chinese pages go where they say instead of to "page not found", and item names and numbers there are in your language.
    • "Show more" on every list keeps your language, and saving an alert or an alert group brings you back in your language.
    • Old realm links no longer open in another visitor's language.
    • An unknown item or realm shows a proper "page not found" with search and links instead of a blank page, and a realm page's region buttons open that region's realm list.
    • When a page fails to load you see goldcap's own error page, in your language, with the menu still there.
    • The item page no longer calls a price "below fair value" when it is above it; a fair price now says how close it is.
    • Crafting: the deposit line under "Calculation assumptions" shows the deposit and the expected loss.
    • Profession routes: "Back in your pocket" shows what selling your crafts brings back.
    • Vendor prices for items sold in a stack (arrows, bullets, vials and similar) now show the true per-item price instead of the whole stack's.
    • My auctions: an undercut, sold or expired notice that Discord failed to deliver is now sent on the next check instead of being lost.
    • Alerts sent by Discord DM are retried after a short wait when Discord is busy, instead of counting as a failed send.
    • The BUY tab no longer buys above a price you have just lowered on a group item.
    • "Did this group pay off" no longer counts Sniper and BUY-tab purchases twice.
    • Resuming a paused alert, alert group or My auctions notification gives it a fresh start: a single failed message no longer pauses it again straight away.
    • Fixed an issue where starting a free trial could leave the account without Pro.
    • Searching for a very long number no longer shows an error, and an item link with an impossible id shows "not found".
    • The site footer links to our YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
  49. Addon

    0.15.3

    • A deal your "Max wallet per buy %" holds back now says the least gold that buys any of it, not the gold for the biggest buy: "needs 2,000g" for one unit instead of "needs 400k" for two hundred. It is checked again as soon as the character holds that much.
    • Changing a setting now checks the deals it held back for gold again right away, including the one open in the buy window. Before, raising your wallet limit changed nothing until your gold did.
    • Flips no longer queue behind a wall for one silver. Goods bought through the sniper are priced towards the exit they were bought for, and that price could land one step above a huge stack of listings. It now weighs the wait in front of each price the same way every other GoldCap price does, and joins the front of that stack instead.
    • With no gold on the character, the "Not enough gold" line no longer shows over an empty Deals board.
  50. Addon

    0.15.2

    • Fixed: the Sell tab priced gear, bags and other non-stacking items far too low when several identical listings shared one price. THE BOOK divided the price by how many were listed, so 150 bags at 1,800g each read as 12g, and MATCH and UNDERCUT suggested 12g. They now read 1,800g, the same as the auction house's own list.
    • Fixed: for the same reason, the sniper could see such an item as a far cheaper deal than it was, and a price from your alert groups could show a YOUR PRICE row for a listing that costs more than that price. A buy now always reads as one item at the listed price.
    • Fixed: buying one such item, in the sniper or in the auction house's own window, was recorded in your ledger as every identical listing at a fraction of the price each.
  51. Web

    1.37.1

    • Fixed: creating a price alert delivered as a direct message from GoldCap failed with "webhookUrl is required for webhook delivery". Alerts sent to your Discord account are created again; webhook alerts were not affected.
  52. Addon

    0.15.1

    • The Deals board leaves out finds worth less than your "Min profit per buy", and a refused row you checked yourself goes to Hidden once you close its buy window. Rows you watch stay.
    • A deal only your "Max wallet per buy %" holds back stays on the board, says how much gold the character needs, and is checked again as soon as the gold arrives.
    • In the buy window, "Confidence" is now "Sales evidence": how sure GoldCap is that listings which disappeared were really sold.
  53. Addon

    0.15.0

    • The sniper now watches the prices you set in your alert groups on goldcap.gg. A listing at or under your price shows up as a "YOUR PRICE" row, rings, and buys through the usual window. Your prices are watched on both Deals boards and on the Sold tab while the GoldCap window is open at the auction house, and wait while you use the Sell and BUY tabs; each find shows up on its own board. Needs the current Companion release; the group's minimum item level is honoured for gear. When you buy part of what is listed at your price, the rest comes back as a row. The row names its alert group when there is room for it; hover it for the group and what YOUR PRICE means. Its PROFIT is what reselling the whole buy at the market would make after the cut, like every other row's.
    • A commodity at your price is bought cheapest first and no more than your "Max units per buy" and your wallet limit allow; gear at your price keeps to your wallet limit too. The sniper never plans a unit above your price, and warns you loudly before any quote that could include one. If the listing at your price has gone by the time you check it, the buy window says what the next one misses — your price or your item level — and holds its Buy button for a moment. Buys at your price count in your session and your ledger like any other sniper buy.
    • New option: stop scanning and open the buy window as soon as one of your prices is met (off by default). It never takes over a buy window you already have open: it waits until you close it. The window it opens holds its Buy button for a moment, so a click meant for the board does not land on it, and after you close one it waits two minutes before opening the same item again.
    • Once you search, or open your favourites, on the auction house's own Buy tab, the sniper leaves that list alone for as long as the tab shows it, with the GoldCap window open or closed.
    • The BUY tab shows the item level an alert group's gear price is set for ("item level 625+"). When the sniper has already seen the item at that level or higher, the auction house search it opens shows the cheapest such version rather than whichever one the auction house picks.
    • A realm item listed in several item-level variants is now checked and bought at its cheapest variant, not whichever one the auction house answered first.
    • The buy window's Reason line shows its whole sentence instead of cutting it off.
    • Clicking Buy right after a purchase was cancelled or sent back to a Check no longer sits on "waiting for previous commodity purchase to settle": the click checks the price again, and the next Buy goes through. While a purchase you confirmed is still going through, the next buy window waits for it and offers Refresh as soon as it is done, and the BUY tab waits for it too — in either direction, one purchase never starts on top of another you confirmed.
    • A price the auction house quotes in the buy window, left unconfirmed for 20 seconds — or until the auction house's own quote runs out, if that is sooner — turns into Refresh, the way an unclicked Buy already does. The last ten seconds count down, in the buy window and at the start of the line waiting for its CONFIRM on the BUY tab.
    • The Auto button says what is holding it — "AUTO · PAUSED: MAILBOX OPEN", "BUY TAB", "WAITING FOR YOU" and so on — and its tooltip says what to do about it. A mailbox you left by walking straight to the auctioneer no longer keeps Auto paused.
    • Rows you watch show their discount, total and estimated profit against the market when the addon knows a market value for the item, dimmed, until a live Check confirms them.
    • A scan you started yourself that stops because you left the Deals tab, searched the auction house yourself or closed it now says so, instead of reading "scanning auction house..." until the next scan.
    • Post on the Sell tab shows that it is posting — the button spins and says so, and pressing it again does nothing meanwhile — then says Posted, or what went wrong in the auction house's own words. A post the auction house answers late still counts as posted; while GoldCap waits for that answer, up to a minute, the same item cannot be posted again.
    • The Deals tab names an auction house error in the game's own words instead of a generic one.
    • The Deals column headings no longer go blank after you visit another tab or reopen the window.
    • THE BOOK on the Sell tab is drawn around your price: the cheapest prices, the ones just under yours, your price with how many units are ahead of you — the ones already at your exact price count, they sell first — and the ones above it. Walls, the big stacks worth pricing under, are marked and named, with how long the queue ahead of you takes at today's pace. A row's "N ahead" counts the same way.
    • The Sell tab lists gear and caged battle pets from your bags: a gear row names its item level, a pet row the pet's level. Gear is priced from the live auction house for its exact item level and a caged pet from the live listings of its kind — never from a market figure for other item levels or other pets. An item the auction house has not told GoldCap about yet is listed under its own heading instead of being left out.
    • With the current Companion, GoldCap knows every commodity in your region, not only the few hundred that sell the most: tooltips show a fresh price for each of them, the Sell tab prices every commodity in your bags from fresh market figures, and the sniper can check thousands more against their own sales. /goldcap status says how many commodities it covers and how old it is, or why it is not in use.
    • The sniper scans Miscellaneous items on every pass, alongside trade goods, consumables, gems and enhancements. It checks first the deals most likely to sell, keeps paging the auction house while it checks, and comes back to a deal it had no time to check two minutes later instead of dropping it.
    • Hovering an item the sniper's scan saw in the last 15 minutes says what it was going for at the auction house: "On the AH now", its cheapest price, how many were listed and how long ago, even after you close the auction house. Gear and caged pets are left out.
    • Big numbers in tooltips are easier to read: "Sold per day" shows 29,728 instead of 29728.0, and the listed counts are grouped the same way.
  54. Companion

    1.13.0

    • The Companion now hands the addon the prices of your alert groups — every item with a price you set, or a target the site computed — so the in-game sniper can watch them live at the auction house. When an alert fires on gear you gave a minimum item level, its line in the BUY tab shows that item level too. Needs the matching addon release; older addons ignore the extra data.
    • The Companion now also brings the prices of every commodity in your region, and how well each one sells, not just the few hundred busiest, so the addon's tooltips and sniper cover the whole market. The Status screen says how many items that was and how fresh they are. Needs the matching addon release; older addons ignore it.
  55. Web

    1.37.0

    • Item categories: herbs, ore, cloth, leather, enchanting materials, potions, flasks, food, gems, recipes, armor by type, weapons, bags, pets, mounts and housing decor each have their own page with live prices, most listed first. They are linked under the item list.
    • An item page shows the category the item belongs to above its name; click it to see the rest of the category.
    • Page titles name the region they are for — US, EU, KR or TW.
    • The item list no longer jumps while its results load.
  56. Web

    1.36.1

    • Prices no longer jump to a leftover listing after an item sells out for a day.
  57. Web

    1.36.0

    • Alert groups: pasting an Auctionator or Point Blank Sniper list keeps each line's price, item level and reagent quality — the members come in with your price already set, and pasting the list again into the same group updates the prices of the items already in it.
    • Alert groups: a minimum item level per member. Discord alerts count only lots at or above it — a cheaper copy of the same item at a lower level doesn't set one off — and so does the in-game sniper (needs the next companion and addon releases). For Discord alerts, a lot whose item level the site can't tell doesn't count, and these members are checked against the hourly auction data, not your own live scans, which carry no item levels. A member on the group's percentage is still measured against the market at the item's most common level. Next to your price, for a member with no minimum item level: how many of the last 30 days the item was at or under it.
    • Alert groups: "Your price" takes silver and copper — 12.6 is 12g 60s — where it used to hold whole gold only.
    • Alert groups: a member with nothing on sale right now keeps its target and says "Nothing listed", where it used to lose its target and read "No data yet". One that is on sale but has no market to set its target from — gear listed on too few realms, say — says "No market yet".
    • Alert groups: the Scan button under a Discord digest no longer fails on a slow scan, and Scan now says why it could not run — the group changed while it was being scanned, or a check of its region was already running — on a line of its own under the buttons.
    • Alerts: when a group was last checked, and when a rule last fired, are now said in your language rather than in English ("1d ago").
    • The companion now hands your groups' prices to the addon, so the in-game sniper can watch them live (needs the next companion and addon releases).
  58. Addon

    0.14.0

    • My lots tells you what to do with them. The tab is split into three: lots that have been undercut and are worth cancelling, lots priced far under the market, and lots to leave alone. A row says how the stock is listed ("400 in 2 lots"), the rows worth cancelling carry their own Cancel lot button, and the panel opens on your lots, each with its own. The button that used to say Repost now says what it does: it cancels the lot, after a second click.
    • Cancelling a lot no longer freezes the tab. After the confirming click the Sell tab could sit dead for half a minute — no row would open, the panel would not close. The lot now leaves the list at once, and the tab says when the auction house has confirmed it.
    • GoldCap's price no longer queues behind a wall for one silver. On fast-selling goods it could pick a price one step above a huge stack of listings, putting tens of thousands of units in front of yours for half a percent more. It now weighs each price against the wait in front of it, and joins the front of that stack instead.
    • Buy more than 200 at a time. A new setting, "Max units per buy" (up to 5,000; still 200 until you raise it), lets the sniper take a whole cheap wall in one purchase. How fast the item sells, your wallet limit and the profit floors still decide the final amount.
    • Counts that mean what they say. TO POST counts what you can actually post, not the stock sitting in your mail or bank with it; the Refresh button counts the tab you are looking at.
    • A cleaner look everywhere. Profit, loss and cost wear calmer colours, item names are in their quality colour, the scrollbars lost their arrows, the row's Post button has a gold outline and the order book's bars have rounded ends.
    • Deals no longer pauses after a Sell refresh. Pressing Refresh on Sell and switching straight to Deals could leave the board standing still for up to half a minute.
    • The Sell tab's newer texts are translated in every language the addon speaks.
    • Your crafts reach goldcap.gg too. The ledger and portfolio on the site now show what you made and what it cost, and the materials it used up stop being counted as goods you still hold. Nothing is charged twice: the gold is spent when you buy the materials, not again when you craft with them.
    • `/gc sniper` opens the sniper window again.
  59. Web

    1.35.1

    • Crafting shows up on your ledger. When the addon records a craft, the ledger now moves the stock with it: the reagents you used up leave your inventory, and what you made arrives carrying what those reagents cost you. The gold is counted once, when you bought the reagents, not again when you crafted with them.
    • The region and realm picker stays where you opened it. Choosing another region from the home page could leave the picker stranded in the top-left corner of the screen, and on a phone it closed before you had picked a realm. A region tab now only shows that region's realms; the site switches when you pick one, or when you close the picker on that region. Escape closes it and changes nothing.
    • Tidier menu and ledger. The New card in the menu has its art and icon like the cards beside it, and ledger rows are a line shorter, so more of them fit on a screen.
    • The addon page describes the addon as it is now. One GoldCap tab inside the auction house, and a live verdict on every deal — safe, watch or avoid — instead of the old tier dots.
  60. Web

    1.35.0

    • Filter by expansion. Items, Deals, Movers and Commodities now have an expansion picker: choose Midnight, The War Within or any older expansion and the list keeps only the items that expansion introduced. An item's page says which expansion it comes from, and that chip is the way to the rest of them. Items the game ties to no expansion — holiday goods, most housing decor, old odds and ends — and caged battle pets, which are all one item id whatever pet is inside, show under "All expansions" only.
    • Sort your auctions. On My auctions, click a column header to sort by it — item, stack size, your price, floor, position, status, character or age. Click again to flip the order, a third time to go back to the usual one. On a phone the same choice is a menu above the list, and the page remembers it for next time.
    • Market activity stays put when you change a filter. Switching the kind of event or the value threshold could drop the feed and leave an error card in its place. It doesn't any more.
  61. Addon

    0.13.0

    • The Sell tab, redrawn. Each row now answers before you open it: under the price, where it stands in the live book — five marks, one per price level, and how much stock is queued under it ("120 ahead", "first in line") — and under YOU GET, the margin. A row says what is wrong with it only when something is (no price, no cost for 12, far below market). Stock that is in the mail, the bank or on another character folds under one heading at the bottom.
    • A position opens beside the list, not inside it. The detail panel has its own column on a wide window and lies over the list on a narrow one: a large price box with a ring that says whose price it is, what that price fetches beside it, five one-click fills as one strip (GOLDCAP hands the price back), the reason for the price, Post, and the whole eight-level book — your level washed in gold, levels that are already yours in blue — then your lots and what you paid, in columns.
    • The whole tab is priced at once. Pressing REFRESH (or opening the tab) asks the auction house about every commodity on it in one message, so prices arrive together instead of a row at a time; the books and queue standings fill in behind them, the deck you are looking at first, top to bottom. Post still checks that one item's price before it lists.
    • The status is where the button is. The bottom of the tab is a dock: the bulk action, what it will do next, what is happening right now, and the session's totals. A search box sits in the top row wherever the window has room for it.
    • The Sell tab knows what your crafts cost. Craft with materials GoldCap saw you buy and the finished item carries their price, with multicraft extras and returned materials counted as they actually landed — so profit, breakeven and the repost advice work on what you make, not just on what you flip. The materials leave your stock at the same moment, instead of sitting there as goods you no longer have.
    • A craft GoldCap cannot price stays empty, not guessed. Materials you gathered yourself or bought from a vendor have no price it can see, so those crafts keep no cost at all rather than being given a made-up one. /gc craft says what the last few crafting sessions did, and why any of them recorded nothing.
  62. Companion

    1.12.0

    • You decide when the Companion looks for updates. Settings has a new "Check for updates automatically" box. Untick it and the Companion never checks for or downloads a new version on its own; the "Check for updates" button under it does that when you ask. It stays on unless you change it. On Windows an update has always waited for your click before installing — that part is unchanged.
  63. Addon

    0.12.3

    • The Sell tab leaves the auction house to you and your other addons. It kept re-pricing your items every few seconds, so Auctionator's selling and shopping tabs sat on "Fetching item info…" waiting for their turn. It now pauses while you post, buy or search on the auction house — in Blizzard's own tabs or another addon's — and while the GoldCap window is closed, then carries on by itself. Pressing Post on a row still checks that item's price straight away.
    • An item you open on the auction house keeps its prices. With a commodity or item page open from Blizzard's Browse list, turning on Auto — or anything else GoldCap searches in the background — could send that page back to "Searching…" for good. GoldCap now waits until you go back.
  64. Web

    1.34.1

    • You can read what you install. The addon's and the companion app's source code is now public on GitHub, and the download page and the addon page link to it.
  65. Web

    1.34.0

    • The Profit page is rebuilt around what you hold. Open positions show one row per item instead of one per purchase, with a break-even price (what you paid divided by 0.95, so a sale there covers the auction house cut), how the price moved since you bought, and how old your stock is. Next to your realized profit the page now says what you would end up with if you sold everything today, the chart has one clear tooltip with that day's profit, and a calendar shows which days made or lost gold. Activity is grouped by day with the character each trade came from, and on a phone every section is one tap away.
    • See your gold, your listings and each position up close. The Profit page now shows the gold on your characters with its curve over the chosen window, and your net worth — that gold plus your open stock at today's prices, after the auction house cut — with what it comes to in WoW Tokens. Each open position says whether you have it listed, undercut or priced too high, going by what the companion last saw, and Details opens the price since you bought against your break-even, how fast the whole market sells the item and how many days of those sales your stock is. A new card splits your profit by item category.
  66. Addon

    0.12.2

    • The SOLD tab's column headings draw again. QTY, UNIT, TOTAL and PROFIT could come back blank after switching tabs, with only ITEM and WHEN showing. They are stamped again every time the tab is shown.
  67. Addon

    0.12.1

    • Every line of a run is yours to buy. The BUY tab no longer limits how many lines of a run you can buy — every line of every run has its BUY button, for everybody.
  68. Addon

    0.12.0

    • Craft it or buy it. Hover a run line GoldCap knows a recipe for and its tooltip prices the item both ways — what its reagents cost against what the auction house is asking for the finished thing — in green when crafting is the cheaper of the two. Right-click the line and Split into reagents turns it into a craft line with its reagents underneath, bought, capped and counted like any other line; a reagent the run already asked for simply grows instead of appearing twice. Buy it whole instead puts it back.
    • A plan you recomputed says so. Recompute a saved list at today's prices on goldcap.gg and the run's header says what changed for the next day, while your bought counts and what you have spent carry over line by line.
    • Runs you follow. Open somebody's list on goldcap.gg, follow it, and it rides into the BUY tab after your own, marked with whose it is. Unfollow on the site.
    • Your alerts, ready to buy. Every alert group that has hits right now becomes a run of its own under Alerts in the run picker — one line per hit, capped at the price you set the alert for rather than at the usual-price cap, and marked with the realm when the hit is bound to one. The run goes when the hits do.
    • Needs companion 1.11.
    • Every line of a run knows what it should cost. A list saved on goldcap.gg now brings the site's own price for each reagent, so USUAL and the price cap work even for items GoldCap's market data has never carried — old-world cloth, low-level ore, anything the auction house rarely sees. Needs companion 1.10 (or paste the list again from goldcap.gg).
    • Vendor lines are priced. A reagent you buy from a vendor shows what the vendor charges and what the whole stack will cost, and the run counts it into what is left to spend. Copy vendor list in the run header opens the list as plain text — what to buy, what each costs, what the trip comes to — ready for Ctrl+C.
    • When an item is usually cheap. Where the price cap refuses a line, GoldCap says what hour of the day that item has usually been cheapest over the last fortnight, in your realm's time. It shows on the line's tooltip and in /gc buy.
    • Finished lines get out of the way. Lines you have already bought drop to the bottom of the run, under the vendor stops, and a run with nothing left simply says so. Its menu then offers Archive, which takes it out of the picker; archived runs sit at the bottom of the same menu with Restore.
    • A cap per run. The run menu carries its own Cap: setting — 100% to 300% of the reference price — so a run you are in a hurry to finish can pay more than one you are not. A run without its own cap uses the one in Settings.
    • HAVE counts your bank. A line's HAVE is everything the character owns — bags, bank, reagent bank and warband bank — so a run no longer sends you shopping for stock you already have. The line's tooltip says how much of it is in the bags and how much is in a bank.
    • Purchases reach your ledger on goldcap.gg. What you buy through the BUY tab is reported against the list you bought it for, so the site can tell you what a run really cost.
    • BUY tab. Lists with quantities you save on goldcap.gg (a profession's shopping list, for one) get a BUY tab of their own at the auction house. Each line shows what you need, what is already in your bags and bank and what is left to buy; one click buys the missing amount of a commodity from the cheapest lots, and a second click confirms the total. Lines are never bought above your cap (130% of the usual price by default, in Settings); when only part fits under it, that part is bought and the rest waits. Vendor reagents are marked and left to the vendor. Free accounts can buy the first five lines of a run; Pro buys them all. A list synced by companion 1.9 reaches the game the way market data does — after a /reload or relog — or paste a run string from the site into Import.
    • The ITEMS board keeps looking. After a switch to ITEMS the board checked its items once and then stood still for the rest of the visit; it now goes round its list again every few seconds for as long as the board is on screen.
    • A purchase page opened by a search no longer stops the scan. GoldCap tells your own click on a browse row from a page a search opened, however long the search took to answer, so the Deals scan and the Items poll no longer wait for you to press Back.
  69. Companion

    1.11.0

    • Shopping lists now carry what it would cost to craft an item. When goldcap.gg knows a recipe for something on your list, the Companion brings its reagents and their prices along too, so the BUY tab can say whether crafting it beats buying it — and turn the line into its reagents when it does. Needs addon 0.12.0.
    • Alerts and lists shared with you reach the game as well. The items your price alerts are firing on right now arrive as a shopping run of their own, each carrying the price ceiling it was set at and the realm it was seen on. A list someone shared with you arrives as a shopping run too.
    • Shopping lists arrive with prices. A list from goldcap.gg now brings the site's price for each item along with it, so the addon's BUY tab knows what something usually costs — and what a vendor charges for it — even for items your price import has never carried. Needs addon 0.11.0.
    • What you buy from a list reaches your ledger on goldcap.gg. Purchases made in the BUY tab now upload with the list they came from, so the site can total what a shopping run actually cost you.
    • Your saved lists reach the addon. Lists with quantities saved on goldcap.gg (a profession's shopping list, for one) show up in the addon's BUY tab next time you log in or /reload. Needs addon 0.10.0.
  70. Web

    1.33.1

    • Crafting quality shows next to the name in alert groups and when adding items. Sanguithorn comes in two qualities and they are two different items; the group's item table and the "Add an item" search now carry the same quality gem the rest of the site uses, so you can tell which one you are looking at before the id.
    • Your own scan's price stays on the row. Pro: after your addon scan updated an alert group's Last price, the next hourly Blizzard snapshot could put its older price back within minutes. A fresher observation now stays until something newer arrives.
  71. Web

    1.33.0

    • Alert groups show the market, and Gap is measured against it. Every row in a group now carries a Market column: what the item goes for across the whole region (for gear, the typical realm floor across the realms that carry it; for a commodity, the region's market value), and under it how many realms or listings that number rests on, so a "steal" built on three listings is visible as one. Gap is now the distance from that market, not from your target. The market is the lower of today's value and its 30-day median, marked "30d" when the longer line is the one in force, so a week of high relists cannot make everything look cheap. Your target still decides what gets alerted, and the Discord digest now says what each market rests on too.

    • Save a profession's shopping list to your lists. "Before the first craft" on a profession page has "Save to my lists": the reagents and their quantities become a saved list, with the quantities shown on the list page.
    • Copy a list for Auctionator. Saved lists with quantities and the profession shopping list can be copied in Auctionator's own import format, quantities included.
    • A saved plan can be refreshed. A shopping list you saved from a profession plan now says which plan it came from, and its page has "Recompute at today's prices": the plan is solved again with the prices as they are now and the list is rewritten. What you have already bought on that run stays counted.
    • Share a run with anyone. Open somebody's list link while signed in and you can follow it. A run you follow turns up in the addon's BUY tab after your own, marked with whose it is; unfollow from the same page. Every run's page also says how many players have shopped it through the addon.
    • Alerts you can shop. An alert group that is finding things right now is sent out as a shopping run of its own, one line per find, priced at the group's own target and naming the realm when a find is only there. It goes when the group falls quiet and comes back when it fires again. With addon 0.12 and companion 1.11.
    • Runs know what a thing costs to make. Every run now carries the cheapest way to craft each line as well as buy it: what one craft yields, which reagents it takes and what they cost right now — priced at the vendor where a vendor sells one. With addon 0.12 and companion 1.11.
    • Profession lists carry their prices. "Copy for GoldCap" on a profession page now includes the site's own price for every reagent, so a pasted plan knows what things normally cost from the first line.
    • Runs carry prices with them. A shopping list you save now carries the site's own price for every line, so the addon's BUY tab knows what each item usually goes for — and what a vendor charges, for the lines you marked as vendor. A run copied as text carries those prices along with it.
    • Runs say when an item is usually cheap. Where the last two weeks of auction-house prices are clear about it, a run carries the hour of day each reagent on it is usually cheapest in.
    • Purchases from a run show up in your ledger. Anything bought through the addon's BUY tab appears in Activity tagged with the run's name, and the run's own page on the site shows how many lines you bought on it and what they cost.
    • Profession plans know what the vendor sells. Thread, flux, vellum, wireframes, cooking supplies and the other reagents a Midnight profession vendor sells are marked as vendor lines on the leveling plan and its shopping list, priced at the vendor rather than the auction house, and the addon's BUY tab keeps them off the auction house too.
    • A Pro alert group holds 1,000 items. The limit was 200. And when a list is too long for the group — while you build it, or when you paste more into one you already have — what you are told now fits the plan you are on: a Pro account is given the Pro limit and the option of splitting the list across several groups, instead of being offered an upgrade to the plan it is already paying for.
    • Pro shows up in Discord. Everyone with an active Pro subscription now gets the @pro role in the GoldCap Discord server automatically, within an hour of subscribing, and loses it when the subscription ends. Nothing to request: the server matches the Discord account you signed in with.
    • Your open positions are no longer valued at a bait listing. When your own scan prices a position in the ledger, the value now comes from the cheapest level of the book that actually has stock, not from a two-unit listing far under everything else. A stack of 197 Shimmersiren was shown at 18g85s each with the real floor at 36g15s.
    • New items: an enormous move no longer runs over the PHASE column. A debut priced at a few silver next to a listing at 99,000g came out as "+13,026,316%", wider than its column. Moves past +9,999% now read ">+9,999%".
  75. Addon

    0.9.2

    • Two boards on the Deals tab: COMMODITIES and ITEMS. Gear, pets and recipes were sharing one hundred-row list with reagents and consumables, and because a piece of gear is worth far more per lot, their leads pushed the commodities off the board — there were fewer of them than before they ever appeared. Each kind now gets its own hundred rows, and you switch between them with the chips at the top of the board; the ITEMS chip counts what is waiting there while you work the other one. Gear, pets and recipes are also only checked against the auction house while their board is the one you are looking at, which gives the scan and the Sell tab the time back.
    • Commodities get checked again. The background check that turns a row into BUY looks at the top 24 rows of the board, and since gear, pets and recipes joined it their large leads took every one of those places: no commodity was ever checked, so nothing said BUY. The check now covers the top 24 commodities first, then the top 24 realm lots.
    • Sell pricing no longer sits at "PRICING…" with most rows blank, and the Deals scan starts even when the game says the auction house is busy. The client can report its auction-house request system as "not ready" for minutes on end while Blizzard's own search keeps working; every GoldCap request waited for that flag, so nothing was priced and no scan began. The flag is now trusted for five seconds at a time, then one request goes through anyway -- and the Deals board and the Sell tab each get their own turn at it, rather than whichever asked first taking every one. The pricing walk also retries from where it stopped instead of restarting from the first item, and the background poll of realm items no longer takes every request slot while the Sell tab is the one on screen. /gc sell prints the walk's state if it ever sticks again. Three more ways it could stick are gone: an item waiting on a price it had already asked for, an item the game never named, and a price check started by pressing Post now all time out and move on instead of leaving the tab on "PRICING…" until you reload. Pricing also stops while you are on another tab, so the Deals scan and your own searches get the request slot back.
    • The Sell tab says "none" only when the auction house actually answered. A request that never came back was reported as "Nothing listed on the AH right now", which read as a quiet market when it was really no answer at all. Silence now leaves the row waiting, and the goldcap.gg price still stands in until a real one lands.
    • Post lists at the price the row shows. For some items the price sent was a silver above the one in PRICE / UNIT.
    • YOU GET and the posting queue count the stack a click will actually list. Gear and other non-stacking items post one bag stack at a time, but the figures counted everything in your bags — so five stacks of twenty promised a hundred units and the click listed twenty. The queue is ordered on the real figure too.
    • A live listing and the same item in your bags stay on one row. Until the game had said whether an item sells as a commodity, its listing filed itself separately from its stock: two rows for one item, one reading "not on hand", and reposting the lot could answer "Lot cancelled; wait for it to return to bags" about a lot that was still up.
    • A slow Confirm is no longer reported as a failure. Taking your time over the posting confirmation could produce "Posting timed out" over a post that had gone through — and the post then went unrecorded, leaving a price you had typed to carry over to the next stack.
    • CANCEL stops offering a lot it is already cancelling , instead of re-arming the same lot while the auction house is still working on it.
    • The UNDERCUT price button no longer empties the box on items selling for a silver or less, where there is no rung below to undercut to.
    • The READY and NO COST filters work again after using POST or CANCEL. Pressing either queue button left the filters lit but doing nothing for the rest of the session.
    • Column headings on the Deals board no longer go blank after a tab switch. PROFIT and TREND could disappear after visiting Sell or Sold and only come back once a heading was clicked; they are redrawn every time the board is shown.
    • Nor does anything else on it. Deal rows, the AUTO/SCAN/HIDDEN buttons and the Sell and Sold headings could come back blank the same way. Everything is redrawn when you return to a tab or reopen the window, and a long message on the toolbar's status line is no longer dropped for being too long to fit.
    • Escape closes just the check panel. One press used to close the panel, the GoldCap window behind it, and — on the auction house tab — hand the auction house back to Blizzard's own Browse tab.
    • Escape in a Settings number field forgets what you typed instead of saving it. Backing out of a half-typed number saved it anyway. Those fields also stop glowing once you click away from them.
    • The window comes back where you can reach it. A position remembered from a different resolution or UI scale could put the window off-screen, with the title bar you would drag it back by off-screen too. /goldcap reset (or RESET WINDOW in Settings) puts it back in the middle at its default size from anywhere.
    • The GoldCap tab on the auction house tries again. If building it failed on the first visit of a session — usually a clash with another addon — the tab stayed missing until you logged out. It is now rebuilt on the next visit.
    • An item tooltip no longer hangs around after the window or the check panel closes under your cursor, and a row that empties no longer hands its "new deal" gold flash to the next item to take its place.
    • HIDDEN, REFUSED, the "watching" tag and the AUTO/SCAN/HIDDEN hover texts are translated — they were English on every client whatever your language.
    • Korean and Taiwanese realms can import their prices. The import string your realm produces was refused as "not a GoldCap import string" whenever the realm's name is written in its own alphabet, which is every realm in those two regions. Scans made on them now count towards live prices as well.
    • Taiwanese players are no longer told every session that their prices come from the wrong market. Taiwan connects through the Korean gateway, so the addon read a Taiwanese client as Korean and warned about a mismatch that was never there.
    • Prices in the auction house browse list. Hovering a row there — the single "Star Belt" standing for every listing of it — showed no GoldCap lines at all.
    • Gear, pets and recipes show the region's price, not your realm's median. A realm item can sit at two listings for days, and the middle of two listings is not a price: it read as high as 2.7 million gold on an item worth 90,000. The tooltip now shows the figure the rest of the addon judges these items by, with the item level it was measured at. Where there is no region price for an item, the realm's own median is still shown — labelled as an unverified realm median, and on its own, with no sale rate or stock count beside it.
    • Item tooltips say how old the prices are from six hours on , the same point the Deals window starts warning you, instead of staying silent until two days.
    • "My auctions" tracks lots on hyphenated realms. Characters on realms like Azjol-Nerub never had a single lot recorded, so the site's My auctions page stayed empty for them.
    • `/goldcap status` speaks your language , tells you when the loaded snapshot is from another region, and stops reporting a Companion sync problem you have already fixed by pasting a string. A sync problem that is still there is now repeated once each time you log in rather than mentioned once and never again.
    • Clearer refusals when an import will not take : a string with two strings pasted into it, one that names no realm, and — where GoldCap cannot work out which region you are playing in — a line saying so, instead of US prices shown without comment.
    • A confirmed buy the auction house never answered stays finished. GoldCap tells you the purchase may or may not have gone through and to check your mail — and then used to offer that same lot again about a minute later, one click from paying for it twice. The row now stays put until you close the window yourself, and a confirmation that turns up late is written to your ledger and your flips instead of being lost.
    • Your own auctions are not stock you can buy. The price levels you are selling at counted as depth to buy into and as the price to sell against, so a purchase could be planned around units nobody was going to sell you, and the resale it was judged on could be priced one copper under your own listing.
    • "Dump-trend cap %" does what it says. It now refuses a buy when the price has fallen more than that in the last 24 hours; whatever you set, the refusal used a fixed 10%.
    • Deposits are quoted for the listing length you post at. Every buy costed its resale at a 24-hour listing even when your duration is 12 or 48 hours.
    • "You paid" counts only what this character holds in this region. It averaged in every character on the account, at prices from markets you were not standing in. Gear, pets and recipes bought from the Deals board are also matched to their sale now, so the figure stays right after you sell one.
    • Confirm stays greyed out when a re-quoted price is past your gold , instead of offering a purchase that could only fail.
    • The check panel speaks for the item it is showing. A check finishing for another row could repaint the panel you were reading — its status line, its verdict and its Buy button.
    • A bid that never lands no longer rewrites the price on the board , and a buy is refused with "waiting for previous commodity purchase to settle" in fewer cases where there was nothing left to wait for.
    • Settings says what the spike threshold actually does : above that 24-hour rise it prices the resale exit down, not the market value.
    • AUTO no longer says it is scanning when it is not. While you were posting, buying or reading your own search, AUTO held the scan back -- but the button read "AUTO · SCANNING" and stayed that way, because nothing was running that could finish and move it on. It waits now, and starts the scan the moment you are done.
    • The board and the Sell tab keep working while a buy sits on screen. A check that armed a Buy button stopped every other price check in the addon until you clicked it or the quote expired: rows stopped updating and the Sell tab read "Waiting for the purchase to finish…" over a purchase nobody had made yet. A buy the auction house never answers at all also frees everything else in about half the time it used to.
    • GoldCap stays out of your own Browse pane. Background requests could replace what Blizzard's browse list was showing, so it jumped to an item page with a spinner on it while you were reading your own search. A scan you started with the Scan button also stops when you switch to Sell or Sold, instead of paging away behind them.
    • An item the auction house never answers about is checked again. One unanswered request used to put that item out of reach for the rest of the session: the board skipped it in silence, and its Check button answered "waiting for previous search result to settle" for as long as you stayed logged in. The wait is now given up after fifteen seconds.
    • Gear, pets and recipes stop disappearing from the board moments after they appear. A price check for them could land in the middle of a scan and be read as the scan's own results -- which deleted the rows it did not mention, and cost the scan the page it was waiting for.
    • An item you are the only seller of is not a deal. The board took the cheapest listing as the price to buy at whether or not that listing was your own, so a market you hold outright kept coming back as its own bargain.
    • A damaged save file no longer leaves GoldCap dead and silent. If the stored purchase records could not be read, the addon stopped loading right there: no window, no commands, no tooltips, and nothing on screen to say why. It now says what is wrong and runs everything except cost tracking.

    • Header search with a realm selected lists the best match first. The list mixes items priced on your realm with commodities, and the commodities used to come after the realm items no matter how well they matched: typing "felsteel stab" put three pieces of Felsteel armour above Felsteel Stabilizer. Both kinds are now ranked together by how well they match the words you typed; each kind still keeps its share of the list when the matches are equally good.
  77. Web

    1.30.1

    • Click an item's name to copy it. On an item page the name in the heading is now a button: one click puts it on the clipboard, in the language the page is showing, ready to paste into the auction house search in game. A small copy glyph after the name marks it, and turns into a check for a moment once copied.
  78. Web

    1.30.0

    • Lists are saved to your account. Paste a list while signed in and it gets a short link — /list/k7f3qzab — instead of a long address full of ids. Saved lists hold up to 1,000 items, keep the name of the TSM group they came from, can be renamed and updated by pasting a newer version, and show up under "My lists" on the list page. Anyone with the link can open one, no sign-in needed. Guests keep the link-based lists as before, up to 500 items.
    • Alert groups: "Scan now". A button on the group page checks the group against the latest snapshot right away and sends the digest if anything is under target — no waiting for the next cycle after you create or edit a group. It ignores the quiet time for that one run.
    • Alert groups now say which snapshot they checked. The group page shows when Blizzard's last snapshot landed and when the next one is expected, and the "cooldown" field is now explained for what it is: quiet time per item after it fired. Checks were never on a timer — every group runs the moment a new snapshot arrives — and groups that watch realms now also re-check when realm data refreshes, instead of only when the region's commodities did.
    • Digest lines tell you more. Each hit now says whether it is new under target or has been sitting there ("still 3h"), how much is listed cheap and how fast the item sells, so a lonely bait lot and a stack that moves read differently at a glance.
    • Pro: your own addon scans trigger your alert groups. When your addon scans a realm, every group of yours that covers it is checked against that scan on the spot — a lot under target is in your Discord within seconds of the scan, not at the next hourly snapshot. Live digests are marked ⚡ and say which realm was scanned.
    • `/scan` in the Discord bot. Type /scan (and the group's name, if you have several) to run a check right now from Discord, wherever you are; the digest is sent the group's usual way and shown to you privately.
    • Pro: "Sells within a day" targets. A group can set its target from what the item's floor actually reached in the last 24 hours, minus the auction- house cut and a 15% margin, instead of a flat percentage — a hit is then something you can flip within a day. Commodities only; gear keeps the percentage.
    • Dump alerts. Turn it on and the group also reports an item whose floor fell 30% or more since the previous check, marked 💥, even when it is still above target.
    • Buttons under Discord DM digests. "Mute <item> 24h" for the first hits and "Scan again", right in the message. Webhook posts cannot carry buttons — that is Discord's rule — so those stay as they were.
    • Did this group pay off. The group page shows what its items did in your ledger over the last 7 and 30 days: bought, sold after cut, net, and how much is still unsold.
    • Sortable group items with a rarity column. Click Item, Rarity, Last price, Target or Gap to sort either way; the arrow shows the direction and the choice is remembered across groups. Rarity is colour-coded the way the game does it.
  79. Web

    1.29.2

    • TSM group exports import again. The string TSM's Export button puts on your clipboard — the long wall of letters and digits — now pastes straight into a list or an alert group. It used to be rejected; only the older group:…,i:… form was understood. Pets in the group are skipped and counted, and the group's name becomes the list's name.
    • A pasted list can hold 500 items, up from 200.
    • Alert groups no longer fire on gear that is nowhere near your "% of market". For gear, "market" was the median of every listing in the region, and a few 9,999,999g parking listings could push it into the millions — so a group set to "under 1% of market" rang for a 15,000g lot. Market for gear is now the typical realm floor across the region, the same figure the arbitrage board uses; items without enough realms selling them stay silent instead of guessing. The Discord message now states how far below market each hit is, alongside the target.

    • Item names are readable on the arbitrage board again. The new realm tag had squeezed the item column down to a single letter on wide screens.
  81. Addon

    0.9.1

    • The Sell tab's footer now reads COST · ASKING · AT MARKET. ASKING is the total of your own listed prices; AT MARKET is what GoldCap expects these lots to actually sell for, after the 5% cut. Hover AT MARKET for the explanation — the two numbers were easy to read as one subtracting the other, and they don't.
  82. Addon

    0.9.0

    • The sniper finds a fresh dump in seconds, not half a minute, and the board tells you the moment it has actually checked one — "SAFE +Ng" in place of a guess, and the reason in full on the row you hover when the answer is no.
    • Gear, pets and recipes listed far under their region price now reach the board within seconds and can be bought from the dialog, marked as unverified for sale speed.
    • Settings is simpler and explains itself. The old HOT/GOOD discount and sold-per-day fields are gone — what's left is the three numbers that decide whether a buy happens at all and the three that decide when to stop trusting the data. Hover any field or toggle for a plain-language explanation and its shipped default, and a DEFAULTS button on each card resets it in one click.
    • Item tooltips no longer cover the board. Hovering a deal or a Sell position now opens its tooltip beside the window instead of on top of it.
    • The Sell tab now caps its posting price at what the item's floor actually reaches within a day, and joins the cheapest rung instead of undercutting it by a silver.
    • A purchase that the auction house never answers no longer stalls the scanner, and a Buy no longer bounces to "price moved" when nothing moved.
    • While Auto scans, checks keep landing. Rows are judged as the scan runs instead of waiting for it to stop.
    • A "too little profit" refusal now shows the numbers. The check panel prints the trade it came closest to approving — what you would pay, what would come back, and the minimum it fell short of — instead of "Can't price this" over a row of dashes.
    • Buy takes what's left. When fewer units remain than the plan asked for by the time you press Buy, the Sniper re-checks the book and offers what is still there at a safe price, instead of stopping on "price moved" or "gone" and refusing the next Buy for a while.
    • Reagent quality icons in the Sniper list now match the icon your own tooltip shows. They used to disagree with the game on some items.
  83. Web

    1.29.0

    • Every realm now carries its language. A small tag after the name — EN, DE, FR, ES, RU, IT on EU; EN, OCE, BR, LAT on US; KR, TW — in the realm picker, the realm list, the realm page, the per-realm prices on an item, the arbitrage board and realm deals. Hover it for the full name in your language.
    • Alert groups take items one at a time by name. Start typing under the group's items, pick the suggestion, and it is in the group — no need to paste a list for a single item. Pasting still works below it.
    • Fixed a group's realm picker offering the wrong region's realms. Opening an EU group while the header was on US listed US realms under the EU label, and saving one failed. The picker and the item search now follow the group's own region, whatever the header says.
  84. Web

    1.28.1

    • Fixed the "Show more" button on Movers sitting flush against the bottom of the card. It now has the same breathing room below it as the rows above.
    • The arbitrage board fits its columns again. Six-figure sums are shown in whole gold in the table, and the realm count steps aside on narrow screens.
    • The deals board's modes show a board again. After the sell price became honest, a 30% discount on a liquid commodity was a one-row list. Quick flip and Well-backed now start at 15% under the market, Big ticket at 30%, Everything at 10%, and the fine-tune panel offers 10% and 15% steps.
    • Crafting profits now buy the mats the result actually needs. A recipe whose shown result is a higher quality is priced with reagents of that same quality instead of the cheapest ones on the auction house — the cheap mats could never have produced that result, so the profit was never real. The reagent list says which quality it assumed, and says so when a quality has nothing listed.
    • The header's "More" menu is grouped. Find a trade, Reference, Your tools and Account now sort the twelve pages instead of one flat list.
  85. Web

    1.28.0

    • Alert groups can watch more than one realm. A group now looks for gear, pets and recipes on one realm, on the realms you pick, or on every realm in your region, and the Discord message says which realm each deal is on and links straight to it. Watching several realms or the whole region is a Pro feature; one realm stays free.
    • Header search on a realm now also finds commodities. With a realm selected, searching for something like ore or a crafting material used to say "nothing matches" even when the item was trading region-wide, because commodities aren't sold per-realm. Those results now show up alongside your realm's own items.
    • The pricing page now lists everything Pro includes, with the free limit beside it. The plan card and the Pro offer used to show four things out of nine; both now spell out the whole list — auctions watched, alerts, the crafting calculator, your realms, the ledger — and say where the free plan stops on each one.
    • Searching within a realm answers in well under a second again. Typing in the search box with a realm selected could take 10–15 seconds to show results.
    • The activity feed no longer counts a pulled listing as a sale. A listing the seller removed while cheaper listings of the same item were still on the house shows up as "Pulled" instead of "Sold" — it could not have sold. Sales figures also now count units bought out of a stack as they sell, rather than only when the whole stack is gone.
    • Deals now sell at the price the current book supports, not a stale history figure. "Sells in" also counts everything already listed at or below your sell price, not just what you'd buy.
    • The arbitrage board now ranks by gold per day and only lists items that actually sell , so vendor junk and parking listings are gone.
    • Searching a realm now puts the item you typed first , even when it has only a couple of listings.
    • Item pages show the real item level for upgrade-track and level-scaling gear. Hundreds of items whose versions all read "—" now list their actual levels, and the versions we still cannot name are one line — "level depends on the character" — instead of dozens of blank rows.
    • Item levels on older gear now match the game after the Midnight squish. Anything from before this expansion was being listed at its old, much larger item level; every version of every such item now reads the number the auction house shows.
  86. Web

    1.27.5

    • Setting up Pro is now three checked-off steps. The page after checkout, your account page, and the empty ledger and auctions pages show what is already paired and what is still to do, with the download and store links right there.
    • The Pro wall knows what you have uploaded. If your addon already sends sales or auctions, the ledger and auctions pages say how many, instead of the generic pitch.
    • Deals no longer quote a sale price the market never showed. When an item's book is a wall of overpriced listings with a few cheap ones in front, the board used to take the wall as the "market" price and propose the trade anyway (a 5g wrapping paper listed as "buy at 199g, sell at 990g"). Such items now stay off the board, and the item page shows no fair value for them rather than a made-up one.
    • "Sells in" now measures the trade on the row, not the whole region. It is the time the market needs to absorb what is listed at or below the buy price — the units the row proposes buying — instead of every unit anyone has listed. Quick flip rows read as quick again.
    • Items that had lost their market price get it back. Once an item went a day without a readable price it stayed unpriced for good; about a third of EU's commodity books were in that state. They price again from the next data refresh.
    • The companion has a name in the menu. "Downloads" is now "Companion" in the header, the mobile menu and the footer, and the footer's row of chips gets a Companion link next to CurseForge and Wago.
    • A Discord message during your Pro trial. If the companion is not paired a few hours in, the GoldCap bot sends you the three setup steps; the day before the trial ends it sends what Pro saw for you that week. Two messages at most, and only if you signed in with Discord.
  87. Addon

    0.8.0

    • Keeps goldcap.gg's My auctions page current, automatically. Every lot the Sell tab's own auction-house read sees — posted, repriced, or cancelled — is now saved for the Companion to sync to the site, the same way ledger sales already do. Nothing changes on screen; requires a matching Companion update to actually upload.
  88. Companion

    1.8.0

    • Sends goldcap.gg your posted and cancelled auctions. With addon 0.8.0, the game remembers every lot your Auction House tab has seen, and the Companion uploads it on the regular sync tick — the same way ledger sales already sync. Powers the new My auctions page on the site. Nothing new to set up.
  89. Web

    1.27.0

    • Pro: the site now watches your auctions and tells you on Discord when you are undercut, when something probably sold, and when a lot expired — see /auctions.
  90. Addon

    0.7.0

    • The Sell tab now posts one step above the cheapest listing when the book says that sells just as fast — and never above the cheap quarter. Measured over 3.2 million commodity listings: inside the cheapest quarter the odds of selling within a day are the same as at the very bottom, so racing to the cheapest was giving gold away. The row says why and how many units sit ahead of you. Turn it off under Settings → "Post above the cheapest" if you prefer the old behaviour.
  91. Web

    1.26.1

    • The Pro offer popup and its corner chip now wait for the page to finish loading before they appear.
  92. Web

    1.26.0

    • The $2.99 offer is now a real one-time window. The popup opens once and starts a 24-hour clock. Close it and a small chip in the corner keeps the offer (and the countdown) one click away; when the clock runs out the chip is gone, the popup does not come back, and the intro price is no longer available at checkout. The popup itself now leads with the three free days and says all of this up front.
  93. Web

    1.25.6

    • The site remembers your realm. Pick a realm in the header once: the logo and every menu link now keep you in that realm's region, the home page opens your region's home, and a list opened without a realm in the link shows your realm's column. Choose "Region-wide" on a list to look at the whole region instead.
    • Realm pickers can be searched. On the item list, in the alert-group forms and in your saved realms on the account page, the realm picker is now a list with a search box — type a few letters instead of scrolling through 260 EU realms. Member realms of a connected group are found too.
    • The account menu no longer draws a second, squarer outline around the row under the pointer.
  94. Web

    1.25.5

    • The item list page got a cleaner table. The realm picker, "Copy as TSM group", "Alert on this list" and "New list" sit beside the title; under it, one line says how many items are priced, how many are not on the auction house right now, and when the prices were last updated — instead of a timestamp in every row. Quantity and listings are two columns, the median shows how far under it the cheapest listing sits, and an item with no auctions gets one clear "No auctions in EU" chip instead of a row of dashes. The remove button appears when you hover a row.
  95. Web

    1.25.4

    • Pricing page: the Pro card got the same look as the offer — artwork, the price front and centre, the four Pro capabilities as tiles, one gold button. The outdated "TSM CSV import" line is gone.
    • The account menu's Pro entry now says what you get on one line and the terms on the next, in every language; the language list no longer cuts off its last entry.
    • The pricing page's header art now runs under the navigation like on every other page.
  96. Web

    1.25.3

    • Clicking "remove" twice on an alert-group item, or deleting a group twice, no longer breaks the page.
  97. Web

    1.25.2

    • Item list moved into the "More" menu in the header; the bar keeps Items, Crafting, Realms, Deals and New.
    • The account menu is compact again: normal-case rows, one width, the Pro button as a plain gold plate.
    • The "in Pro" notice inside crafting and item cards is now a proper plate with a padlock and a gold button instead of a bare line of text.
    • The header's glass blur sits on the navigation dock only, not across the whole strip of art under it.
  98. Web

    1.25.1

    • The home page and the other busy pages load fast again; a change made earlier today had them rebuilt on almost every visit. Nothing else changes.
  99. Web

    1.25.0

    • Look up a whole list of items at once. The new Item list page takes a TSM group export, an Auctionator or Point Blank Sniper list, or item names one per line, and shows current prices for all of them in one table — with your realm's price beside the region's for gear and other per-realm items. The list lives in the link, so you can bookmark it or send it to a friend, and you can copy it back out as a TSM group.
    • One alert for a whole list. Paste a TSM group, a Point Blank Sniper list, or item names, set "under 60% of market" once, and get one Discord message per check listing everything that is under its target — instead of one alert per item. Any item in the group can carry its own price. Start from the new Groups section on your alerts page, from Alert on this list on a pasted list, or from Alert on this group on the TSM page.
    • Gear alerts by realm. A group with a realm watches gear on that realm; commodities are watched region-wide as before.
    • Cancelling a subscription now keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for (or the trial you started). Before, access ended the moment you cancelled.
    • Every account gets one free trial. If you have used yours, the pricing page says so and shows what you can still get.
    • First month of Pro for $2.99. If you have not tried Pro yet, a one-time offer shows up after a few pages: 3 days free, then $2.99 for the first month and $4.99/mo after. Cancel any time.
    • The profit ledger (/ledger) is part of Pro. Your addon keeps recording on Free; the numbers unlock when you upgrade.
    • Language switcher moved into the account menu; the menu got icons.
    • A clearer picture of what Pro includes on the home page and in the header.
    • The mobile menu's bottom button now opens Pro plans, and Downloads moved into the menu's Tools row.
  100. Web

    1.24.0

    • The site is much faster a long way from Europe. Pages are now held at the datacentre nearest you for up to an hour instead of a minute, and refreshed the moment new auction data lands rather than on a timer. Nothing you see is older for it; from Asia and the Americas the wait drops from seconds to milliseconds.
    • Every "2 minutes ago" on the site now keeps counting on its own. It used to be stamped when the page was built, so a page left open — or handed to you from a cache — could sit there claiming the prices were fresh.
  101. Web

    1.23.1

    • Nothing on the site looks different. This release is groundwork for making pages load faster, especially a long way from Europe.
  102. Addon

    0.6.5

    • The Sell tab was hiding stock you can absolutely sell. Anything the vendor refuses to buy — most enchanting dust, many crafting reagents, a stack of Venomous Combatant's Heraldry sitting in your bags — was left out of the tab entirely. Those rows said "not on hand" and showed no price and no margin, over items the auction house was happy to take. They are now counted, priced and postable like everything else.
    • The Sell tab's two counters were stuck on zero. "TO POST" and "MY LOTS" were filled in once, before the list existed, and never again — so they read 0 over a screen full of rows. They now follow the list.
    • Hovering a row in Sold now shows the item, and what you paid for it. The tooltip is the item's own, the same one Deals and Sell already give you, with a line for the per-unit cost the profit on that row was worked out from.
    • What you paid is now legible on a Sell row. The cost per unit was there all along, in the same weight and colour as the words around it, and easy to look straight past. The amount now reads as money.
    • Repost works on stock you did not buy through GoldCap. On anything with no purchase history — farmed, crafted, or bought before you installed the addon — the Repost button did nothing at all when clicked.
    • Reposting no longer feels broken. The button used to sit greyed out for three seconds before a confirming click counted, then give up on you seven seconds later without saying so. The pause is now a second, the window to confirm is nineteen, and a cancel the auction house is slow to acknowledge is no longer reported as having timed out when it has actually gone through.
    • Sales you have already been paid for no longer sit in the Sell tab. An invoice GoldCap could not match to one of your positions used to leave a row behind with no icon, no numbers and nothing you could do about it. Sold still tells you, on that sale, when it could not work out what it cost.
    • Reagent quality ranks stop confusing your sales. The ranks of an ore or a herb share one item name, and a sale invoice carries the name and nothing else — so GoldCap could not tell which one you had sold, and left both uncosted. It now tells them apart by the price the sale went through at.
  103. Web

    1.23.0

    • The TSM page now builds your groups for you. TSM arrives empty, and the hard part was never the prices — it is knowing what to put in the groups. The page hands you a ready-made group tree for your region, split into what clears reliably and what sells more slowly, built from commodity listings we followed until they sold or expired. One paste in TSM, then hang your own operations on each branch.
    • The TSM button on an item page now carries that item across, instead of dropping you on a page with nothing to copy.
    • The accounting import accepts every region. KR and TW players could only upload their history by mislabelling where it came from.
  104. Web

    1.22.0

    • New: where to price so it sells. A page on what your position in an item's book does to your chances, measured across 1.31 million listings that we followed until they sold or expired. The short version: the drop-off is at the middle of the book, and on a typical commodity the middle sits only 8-13% above the cheapest listing — so the range where your price barely matters is narrower than it feels. It comes with a TradeSkillMaster operation set up from those numbers. Open to everyone, under TSM in the menu.
    • Item pages now name the middle of the book right beside the price, so you can see the ceiling before you post rather than after.
    • The TSM custom price source is no longer offered, and is no longer listed as part of Pro.
  105. Addon

    0.6.4

    • The addon now tells you when the Companion would help. Tooltip prices that come from the bundled snapshot or a stale import end with a one-line reminder that the free Companion keeps them fresh. Opening the GoldCap auction-house tab for the very first time with no prices loaded opens the Companion dialog once, and that dialog now explains what installing it actually changes instead of only handing you the link.
  106. Web

    1.21.0

    • The bulk-buy card was rebuilt. It answers one question — what a quantity costs if you buy it off the board right now — and the total is now the first thing on it, with the number of units it actually covers written underneath. Quantity has a stepper and one-tap stack sizes instead of a box you have to type into, and those sizes only appear when the market is deep enough to fill them. A bar shows how much of everything listed you would be taking, and the card says plainly when buying that many pushes you well past the cheapest price.
  107. Web

    1.20.1

    • The "Will it sell?" card disappeared from item pages shortly after 1.20.0 shipped, and prices stopped updating for about an hour. Both are fixed.
  108. Web

    1.20.0

    • Sell-through is free. How many units of a commodity actually sell per day, and how long the listings currently up would take to clear, used to be Pro. They are not any more. Every number on the "Will it sell?" card is open to everyone, including how confident the estimate is.
    • New: the chance your listing sells within a day, by where you put it. The same card now shows what actually happened to listings posted at each position in an item's book — undercutting the lowest price, sitting exactly on it, in the cheapest quarter, above the middle of the book, in the dearest few percent. It is built from what the auction house did over the last 30 days, so it starts thin and fills out over the coming weeks, and it stays quiet on items with too few auctions to say anything honest. A position with fewer than thirty listings behind it shows a dash rather than a percentage.
    • The "Will it sell?" card now sits directly under the price instead of five cards further down.
  109. Web

    1.19.2

    • Nothing on the site changed this time. This release is groundwork for the next one.
  110. Addon

    0.6.3

    • The Post button's help no longer covers the list. Hovering an action button in the Sell tab used to drop its explanation on top of the rows, the column headers and the button itself. It now opens beside the button, on whichever side of the screen has room — and Post and Repost say what they do in two short lines instead of four paragraphs.
  111. Web

    1.19.1

    • The Discord bot's /deals now answers for the realm you name: gear listed on that realm, with region-wide commodities alongside it, instead of one combined list that the region always won.
  112. Web

    1.19.0

    • Profession leveling planner. New pages under /professions: pick a profession and see the cheapest road from skill 1 to the cap at today's auction prices — what to buy in one trip, which recipe to craft for each stretch of skill (in the orange, yellow and green the profession window uses), and what your crafts sell back for. Every recipe and reagent links to its item page; older expansions have their own roads; the shopping list copies as text or as a TSM group. Prices are region-wide, so the road is the same on every realm in your region.
    • A Discord bot. Add it to your server, or as an app on your own account, from goldcap.gg/bot: /price for an item on your realm, /deals for today's best buys, /token for the WoW Token, /setup to give a server its default region and realm, /help.
    • Professions sits in the More menu, the footer and the command palette, and /crafting links to it.
  113. Addon

    0.6.2

    • Items goldcap.gg could not name now get their names from your game. A handful of auction-house items (Tuskarr Jerky, Decorated Truffle and about a hundred more) exist only through Blizzard hotfixes, so the site knew them as "Item #201421" and its search could not find them. The addon now looks them up in your client and the Companion sends the names to the site; nothing changes in-game.
  114. Addon

    0.6.1

    • Buying no longer gets stuck behind an earlier buy. If the price moved in the instant between the quote and your Buy click, the auction house asks for the price again instead of selling — and the sniper used to treat that as a purchase still in flight, refusing every later Buy with "waiting for previous commodity purchase to settle" until you reloaded. It now shows you the new price and lets you confirm or walk away, the same way the game's own window does. A buy the server never answers at all is let go after a minute, with a reminder to check your mail.
  115. Addon

    0.6.0

    • The Sell tab is built around two decks now. One is what you can put up from your bags, the other is what you already have live. They were a single list before, with a filter you had to remember to set, and the two jobs read nothing alike: posting is about stock and a price, watching your lots is about who has undercut you. Each deck carries its own columns — YOU GET, PRICE / UNIT and MARGIN on one; LISTED AS, YOUR PRICE, LOT VALUE and UNDER YOU on the other — and the switch at the top counts what is waiting in each.
    • Two chips narrow the posting deck : READY hides anything you cannot post right now, NO COST shows the positions GoldCap has no purchase price for, so the bookkeeping you owe is a click away instead of a hunt.
    • Opening a position no longer buries the list. The detail used to unfold as a dozen more rows and push everything else off the screen. It is one panel now, in place, with the price ladder and the numbers behind the recommendation.
    • Your prices survive closing the auction house. Type a price, walk away, come back — it is still there. They used to be thrown away the moment the window closed, so an evening of pricing was gone by the next visit.
    • The price you type updates everything immediately. You had to press Enter or wait for a refresh before the row agreed with you.
    • The list stops jumping while it refreshes. Rows keep their place as prices come in, instead of resorting under the cursor mid-click — which made the first few seconds on the Sell tab unusable.
    • Stopping a scan looked like it deleted your deals. It never did. GoldCap re-checks the deals on screen against the live auction house, and rows it refuses are taken off the list — but that check and the scan share one request slot, and a running scan took every one of them. So the check barely ran while you scanned, and the moment you pressed Stop it caught up all at once and cleared the board. The check now takes its turn while the scan pages, so rows are confirmed or refused as they arrive instead of in one sweep at the end.
    • The list is no longer allowed to get shorter without saying so. When a live check takes rows off the board, the status line now says how many and why. The HIDDEN button on the toolbar still shows the running total and still brings them back for a look.
    • A deal nothing has checked yet says so. Hovering a row that no live check has reached tells you that in as many words. The tier, the discount and the profit on an unchecked row are GoldCap's own read of the imported market data, not a confirmed finding, and only the word on the button used to separate the two.
    • Buttons wrote over the numbers next to them in every language but English. "Set cost" is eight characters; the same button in Ukrainian was nineteen, and it drew straight across the prices to its left. Twenty-one labels across eight languages were over their button's width. They are shorter now, and no button can paint outside itself again.
  116. Companion

    1.7.2

    • The update banner no longer pushes the Sync now button off the bottom of the window. When an update was ready, the "Sync now" button could end up half cut off below the edge of the window.
    • Sends the site the names of items it could not name. With addon 0.6.2, the game resolves a short list of hotfix-only items (Tuskarr Jerky and about a hundred more) and the Companion passes those names to goldcap.gg on its next sync, so they show up in search there. Nothing new to set up.
  117. Web

    1.18.0

    • Crafted gear shows the item level of each quality rank. A crafted ring or piece of armour listed at ranks 2–5 was shown at its rank-1 level — every version of Gleaming Copper Band read 165 while the auction house said 168, 171 and 178. The item page's level picker, the realm card's bonus sets and the level filter now use the rank's real level.
    • Search finds the items Blizzard's own data leaves out. About a hundred auction-house items — Tuskarr Jerky, Decorated Truffle and their kin — only exist through Blizzard hotfixes, so the site knew them as "Item #201421" and search could not find them. Their names now come from the GoldCap addon (0.6.2) via the Companion (1.7.2).
  118. Web

    1.17.0

    • Deals: the profit ceiling now means what it says. It counts only the units actually listed at or below the buy price, over one day of sales instead of a week, and the board total covers every deal that passed scoring — not just the first page. The trade panel adds up to the silver against the prices it prints, and big sums read as 2.6Mg rather than seven digits.
    • Crafting shows quality ranks now. Recipes that come in ◆/◆◆/◆◆◆ variants show the rank right on the crafted item and on every reagent — in the Crafting list, the detail panel, and the "Used in" card on an item's page.
    • Quality ranks everywhere use the game's own icons. The same gems the in-game tooltip shows, not a numbered pentagon.
    • You can get to the patch board now. The "New" board has a link to what the current patch added to the game, narrowed to the items that are actually being traded — and a way back. Until now that board existed but nothing pointed at it.
    • It opens instead of hanging. The patch board used to give up before it finished loading; it now answers in under a second.
  119. Web

    1.16.1

    • The addon download page names the version that is actually out. GoldCap 0.6.0 went to CurseForge and Wago while this page still said 0.5.2.
  120. Web

    1.16.0

    • Item pages now show what the item does. The green "Use:" and "Equip:" lines, the item's flavor text, how many fit in a stack and the vendor sell price sit right under the name — in your language, the same words the game shows. Older items fill in over the coming days.
  121. Addon

    0.5.2

    • Korean and Chinese were empty boxes. Choosing one of them redrew the whole interface in the font your client happens to be running — which on a Western client is a Latin face with no CJK in it at all. Blizzard ships the faces for those scripts inside the game's own data whatever language you installed, so the addon now asks for the face that belongs to the script: Korean in 2002, Simplified Chinese in ARKai, Traditional in its own faces, each falling through to the next one your client actually has. The warning that used to claim your client had no font for the language is gone with it — it was printed, ironically, in perfectly legible Korean.
    • The language button became unreadable the moment you used it. Picking Korean wrote Hangul into a button still drawing in the Latin face, so the one control you had just touched turned into three empty diamonds. It now moves to the new script's face with its own text. The rest of the interface deliberately does not: it is still written in the language you came from, and a face has to match the text it draws — switching everything early turned Ukrainian into "м□н□мальна", since the Korean face has Cyrillic but no і or є. The /reload the picker asks for is still what changes the words.
    • The GoldCap tab was invisible with Auctionator installed. Both addons anchored their tabs to the last one they could see, and neither can see the other's — Auctionator's live in a shared tab library, ours in Blizzard's own list. Ours was on the bar the whole time, drawn underneath Shopping. GoldCap now registers through that same library when another addon has brought it, which puts every tab in one row in the order they were added, and hands the library the job of hiding whichever panel is not in front.
    • Auctionator's panel stayed on screen behind ours. Same root: the library hides its panels when the auction house switches to a mode with content in it, and the mode GoldCap set was deliberately empty. Registering properly settles it in both directions.
    • Posting through another addon could not be clicked. With Auctionator's Selling tab open, Post greyed out and only flickered back now and then: GoldCap's background work — the verify pass and the watch loop, neither of which the Auto switch governs — was spending the auction house's shared request budget while you were trying to use it. GoldCap could not tell, because it asked Blizzard what was on screen and Blizzard does not know about another addon's sell form. It now yields to any tab that is not its own, the same way it already yields to Blizzard's.
    • Labels lost their outline at any font scale but the default. The first move of the font-scale slider redrew every label without the flags it was built with.
  122. Addon

    0.5.1

    • The Settings screen was see-through. Opening it drew the whole panel over the deals list — and the list drew straight back through it: rows, prices and item names on top of the settings cards, unreadable both ways. The screen is an overlay on the window's own content, and it had been told to sit in a layer that stopped being above the window the moment 0.5.0 raised the window itself out from under the auction house. It now layers against whatever the window is in, docked or floating, so it is opaque either way.
    • The deals table lost its column headings. ITEM, TIER, DISC, UNIT, PRICE, PROFIT and TREND were blank space: the line under them was drawn, hovering one still raised its tooltip, and the words themselves were never painted. Each heading sits in a 16-pixel-tall cell and was the one label in the addon still allowed to wrap onto a second line — which does not fit, so nothing was drawn at all. They are single-line now, like every other cell in the table.
  123. Addon

    0.5.0

    • The addon speaks eleven languages. German, English, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese in both Simplified and Traditional. It follows the game's own language by default, and Settings → Display now has a language picker — which is the only way to reach Ukrainian, since no Ukrainian WoW client exists. On Korean and Chinese the interface switches to the client's own font, because the addon's bundled one cannot draw those characters at all. The translations were not reviewed by native speakers; anything untranslated falls back to English rather than going blank.
    • Your profit stopped adding up if you ever imported another region. A ledger row's region was copied from whichever price snapshot was loaded, not from the character it happened on — so importing, say, a Korean snapshot while playing in Europe stamped every sale afterwards as Korean. goldcap.gg matches a sale to the purchase behind it within one region, so those sales showed "cost unknown", the stock behind them never left your Sell list, and "earned through GoldCap" collapsed. Rows are now stamped from the client, rows already written are repaired once on login, and a snapshot from a region you are not playing in says so instead of quietly re-pricing your whole board.
    • Every item on the Sell tab looked truncated. The name and the "×246 in bags · ×11 listed" line under it shared one label, and that label draws a single line — so the second line was never drawn and every name on the screen ended in "…", however short it was. They are two lines now, and both are there.
    • "What you paid" was being pushed off the screen. COST / UNIT was the first number the layout gave up once the window was anything but wide, which left a market price and a profit with nothing on screen saying what either was measured against. The numeric columns now shrink before anything is dropped, and what you paid is the last column to go rather than nearly the first.
    • You can set the price yourself now. The one number on the Sell tab that spends real gold was the one number you could not touch: GoldCap picked it and Post sent it. An expanded row now has that price in a box, prefilled with exactly what Post would list at, and you can type over it — or take one click from the book (match the cheapest seller who is not you, undercut them by a silver), from the market value, or from your own break-even. Clearing the box hands the decision back to GoldCap. What you choose is what the profit column, the posting queue and the post itself all use — they were never allowed to disagree and they still cannot. GoldCap will not quietly raise your price to its own floor any more, but it says so, in red, next to the box: under the floor, or under what you paid, before you click rather than after.
    • The Sell tab finally shows the book it has been pricing against. Every price decision on that screen already read the live order book — the underprice floor, the recommended price, how much stock sits ahead of your own lot — and you could see none of it. Expanding a row now shows the cheapest price that is not your own, how many units are standing on each price, how much stock is queued in front of it, which levels are already yours, and where the price GoldCap picked would put you — in its own four columns, with a bar for the depth at each price. Gold marks where your price would land, blue a price you are already standing on. The three headings in an expanded row were also still English in every language; they are translated now, and each one carries its hint inline rather than in a column a narrow window drops.
    • The buy check panel stopped being see-through. Docked inside the auction house, the deals list showed straight through the panel covering it. The panel is an opaque sheet, but "opaque" only holds while it is layered above the rows it covers — and docking adopts the auction house's own layer for the window, which put the two level whenever the game placed the auction house where the panel expected to be alone. The panel now takes its layer from the window rather than assuming one, so no host can repeat it.
    • The buy check window rebuilt around one answer. It used to open the same shape whatever it had to say: a headline that ran off the edge into "…", a quantity box on verdicts where nothing could be bought, ten rows of numbers of which half were dashes, and a 94-pixel gap where a profit figure would have gone if there had been one. It now leads with a single figure that changes unit rather than going blank — the gold you would lose, the days your gold would sit there, the number of units the market can actually absorb — and says "can't price this" in words when the value itself is what it does not trust, instead of inventing a loss out of the number it just refused. Under it are four facts chosen for that verdict, each with a bar only where a real threshold exists, so a short bar means "under the line" rather than "small number". A HOT badge next to a refusal now explains itself instead of sitting there contradicting the verdict. And the whole thing finally fits the drawer when GoldCap is docked inside the auction house — including "all numbers", which used to refuse to open there and tell you to enlarge a window that has no resize handle.
    • The window no longer hides behind everything. The deals window sat under the auction house, the bags and most Blizzard panels, and clicking it did not bring it forward. It now floats above them and raises on a click — and still layers correctly with the auction house while docked inside it.
    • Text you can read in your own language. Labels were drawn in the game client's own font, which only covers the language that client shipped for — so choosing Russian or Ukrainian on an English client turned most of the interface into empty boxes. Those now draw in the addon's bundled font, which covers the whole Cyrillic range. Picking a language your client has no font for at all (Korean or Chinese on a Western client) now warns you instead.
    • Your own language, everywhere it was still English. Whole surfaces stayed English in all eleven languages because they never went through the string layer: the entire Settings screen, the Deals and Sold column headings and their tooltips, the Sell tab's action help, and — worst of them — every sentence the buy check shows when it refuses, which is the most-read prose in the addon. A second, quieter fault froze four more tables to English even though their translations existed. Both are fixed, and both now have a guard that fails the build rather than shipping silently.
    • Numbers you can read. The buy check was printing a region's daily turnover as "856146.0" and the age of its data as "3384s", in a column 64 pixels wide. They now read "856k" and "56m".
    • The addon icon is the GoldCap mark again. The icon in the AddOns list and the minimap compartment was a 64px image with a black background baked in, so it showed as a dark tile. It is now the same transparent mark the website and the store listings use.
    • The addon now tells you about the Companion. No-import and manual-import states point to the free GoldCap Companion first — with /goldcap companion opening a copy-the-link dialog — and the manual paste stays as the alternative.
    • Korea and Taiwan work. Import strings and Companion syncs for the kr and tw regions were rejected outright, so the addon could never receive prices there — and it said nothing about it. Both regions now import, the addon recognises their realms, and a sync it cannot read explains itself in chat, in /goldcap status and on the deals board instead of failing silently.
    • Tooltips say more. The 24-hour trend, and what you paid for stock you are still holding, now sit under the market value. Prices that came bundled with the release are labelled as such, with their age, so they are never mistaken for live ones.
    • Tooltips show how deep the market is. For commodities, a Listed line gives the units standing on the region's shelf and how many days they last at the rate the market is clearing them — so a cheap price you are about to buy into, or a stack you are about to post, comes with the supply behind it. It needs imported data; the snapshot bundled with the release does not carry depth.
    • A button you can find. GoldCap now appears in the minimap's addon compartment and opens the deals board from there.
    • Bundled prices are fresh at release. The snapshot shipped inside the addon is rebuilt for all four regions every time a version is released, instead of being whatever was last generated by hand.
  124. Companion

    1.7.1

    • Written release notes start here. Every version up to this one shipped without them. The companion kept working the way it always has — it watches your WoW folder, uploads what the addon recorded, and writes the market snapshot back so the addon has fresh prices — and from here on, each release says what changed in it.
  125. Web

    1.15.3

    • New: a board for items that have just appeared on the auction house. "New" in the menu shows what debuted in the last 30 days — what each item first sold for, what it costs now, how far it has moved and whether the run is still going or already over. Crashes are shown too, not just winners.
    • The new board no longer takes a quarter of a minute to appear. It was reading every price ever recorded for every item in the region to draw six hundred small charts.
  126. Web

    1.15.2

    • Written release notes start here. The site has shipped continuously — the item pages, the crafting calculator, the ledger, ten languages, the arbitrage board — without a page saying so. This is that page, and from here on every release adds to it.
    • The addon's version on /addon is no longer stated by hand. It advertised 0.4.0 while 0.5.0 was already on both stores. The page now reads the addon's own release notes, so it cannot fall behind again.

    0.4.0

    • Left navigation rail replaces the tab row. Deals, Sell, and Sold are now big icon buttons running down a rail on the window's left edge — with a gear button for Settings — instead of the old three-word tab strip that was easy to miss entirely.
    • Rounded card look throughout. The window frame, rows, chips, buttons, and toolbars are drawn on a new rounded-corner visual kit, replacing the old flat, square-edged panels.
    • Buy/check confirmation rebuilt as a right-side panel. Buying or checking a deal now opens a full-height drawer on the window's right edge — the deals list stays visible beside it on windows wide enough (990px+), and the panel overlays on narrower ones. It leads with a LIVE VERDICT card showing the signed profit at a glance, followed by entry/exit price cards, a kit-styled quantity row with quick-fill buttons, a tier pill, and an evidence grid that's open by default now (existing saved profiles get switched over once, automatically).
    • Deals rows show tier dots, signed profit, and click anywhere to act. Each row's tier now reads as a small colored dot plus label; profit gets a leading "+" when positive; a newly-HOT deal flashes on its own highlight instead of interfering with the row's hover glow; and clicking anywhere on a row — not just its Buy button — takes the row's action. A pinned item that's fallen out of deal range now reads "· watching" in the row itself instead of showing a disabled "Watching" button.
    • Settings panel redesigned. Two columns of grouped cards (Deal Thresholds, Safety, Posting, Automation & Alerts, Display) replace the old single list, checkboxes become pill toggles, auction duration is now a 12H/24H/48H segmented control instead of a cycling button, and the font-scale slider has a proper kit-styled thumb. The rail's gear icon itself lights up gold while Settings is open.
    • Sold tab restyled. Mono section labels under a gold rule, rounded row fills, an item icon on every sale row, and a REALIZED PROFIT figure called out in the header band alongside the sale count and sync age.
    • Sell tab visuals brought to the same kit. Rounded row fills, badge-style action buttons, mono column headers, a visibly highlighted active filter chip (previously invisible), and a rounded cost-entry dialog, plus an honest empty state that distinguishes "nothing to sell" from "no items match this filter."
    • Sell tab keeps showing a price instead of going blank. A position without a fresh Auction House quote now shows goldcap.gg's own imported market value, dimmed and marked with "≈", instead of a bare dash — so the tab isn't empty right after logging in and stays populated until a live quote arrives.
    • Est. profit adds up what it actually knows. A position missing a cost or a live price no longer forces the whole summary to read "Unknown" — it's excluded from the total instead, with the excluded count shown in a tooltip. Items with nothing in your bags and nothing listed are now labeled "· not on hand" rather than showing a permanent dash, and sort to the bottom of the list.
    • Auto mode no longer fights with the Sell tab. Switching to Sell now automatically pauses the Deals Auto scan (it resumes when you go back to Deals), and the Sell tab's own price-fetching says "Waiting for the Auction House…" while the search slot is busy instead of implying something is stuck.
    • Fixed a phantom Sell row. A sale that settled long ago no longer conjures a sell position with no stock behind it.
    • Window widens to make room for the rail. The default window width grew to fit the new navigation rail, and anyone who'd resized their window before this update gets that space handed back automatically, once.
    • Polish pass. A hovered deal row no longer freezes with a stale price and a stuck gold highlight if you close the window mid-hover; a partial Est. profit total on the Sell tab now carries a trailing * instead of reading like a complete number; the buy dialog's "CHECKING" verdict no longer flashes green left over from an earlier check; sale/sell rows with no resolvable icon no longer indent the item name into empty space; and the Sell tab's "≈ market value" fallback comes back once a one-off empty Auction House answer goes stale, instead of hiding for the rest of the session.
    • `/gc` slash alias. A shorter alternative to /goldcap for every command.
  128. Addon

    0.3.0

    • Sniper redesign, on brand. The sniper window is rebuilt on goldcap.gg's own visual language — dark panels, gold accents, a bundled monospace font for prices and stats (item names keep rendering with the game's own font, including Cyrillic, so nothing turns to boxes). The window now resizes both its width and height (not just height), and the deal columns respond to that width: on a narrower window, the total-cost and 24h-trend columns tuck away first (still one click away, in the buy dialog) before anything overlaps.
    • New Unit and Trend columns on the deals list. Unit shows the per-auction unit price (sortable on its own, independent of the total-cost column, so it stays reachable even at widths where total is tucked away); Trend shows the item's signed 24h market-value momentum (▲/▼ N%) wherever import data has it, so a deal that's actually been sliding doesn't read the same as one holding steady.
    • Deals stream in as Full Scan pages, instead of waiting for it to finish. The status line now reads "scanning… N results · K deals" and both numbers climb live; a known deal never needs the whole scan to finish before you can act on it.
    • Auto mode. A new Auto toggle next to Full Scan runs the scan on a loop by itself — it yields the moment you're buying something, searching the Auction House yourself, or have your mailbox open, and resumes a breath after you're done. A brand-new HOT deal plays an alert ping (if sniper.sound is enabled) and flashes its row once, so you don't have to stare at the list.
    • Hovering a deal pre-warms its buy dialog. Hover a stale Full Scan row for a moment before clicking Buy, and the confirmation window can open already armed with a fresh price instead of showing "checking live price..." first — the pre-warmed quote is used only if it's still fresh (within 10 seconds) by the time you click.
    • Sell tab rebuilt as a flips table. Each flip now shows what you paid, what it's listed at (if anything), the current market price, and your projected profit, with a status (unlisted / listed / undercut / sale pending). An undercut listing gets a Repost flow — one click arms a "Cancel lot?" confirmation showing the deposit you'd spend, a second click cancels the old lot and reposts at the new price, so you can never cancel a lot by accident. The old × remove button is still there for abandoning a flip you don't want to track. A summary strip totals invested across every flip and projected/profit across *priced* flips — a flip with no owned lot and no fresh quote yet doesn't get a guessed number folded into the total; it's counted instead in a "· N unpriced" indicator next to Profit, so the totals never read as silently contradictory.
    • Pending-sync hint. World of Warcraft only writes SavedVariables to disk on /reload or logout, so a purchase or sale this session doesn't reach goldcap.gg's ledger until then. The Sell tab now says so directly — "N events sync to goldcap.gg on /reload or logout" — whenever there's something pending.
    • In-game settings panel. A gear icon on the sniper window's title bar opens a panel for the HOT/GOOD discount and sold/day thresholds, the dump-trend cutoff, the sound and auto-scan-by-default toggles, a font scale slider (0.9–1.3), and a button to reset the window back to its default position and size.
    • New Sold tab. A third tab, next to Deals and Sell, answers "what did I sell and at what profit" straight from goldcap.gg's own numbers — the same FIFO cost-basis profit as the web ledger, fed in by the GoldCap Companion on its regular sync tick. It's shown as two honestly separate sections: goldcap.gg's own synced sales, and a "not on goldcap.gg yet" section for today's sales and anything this session hasn't synced yet, so a sale never goes missing while it's waiting on a /reload or logout to reach the server. No companion paired? The tab says so instead of showing nothing.
