## Data & methodology

Prices come from the Blizzard Game Data API, which publishes new region-wide commodity and per-realm auction data roughly hourly; we pick each one up within about 5 minutes. Market value is a robust median-family statistic: immune to single-listing scam-price outliers, not a simple average. Deals are discounts against a fair-value anchor (recent price history, falling back to the latest snapshot) admitted through liquidity gates that exclude thin, unreliable markets.
